We called to insure that the grill was open for dine in service, & yes they are. We spoke with Judy & she greeted us at the door. We love this restaurant , owner, and staff. The SERVICE & FOOD WAS WONDERFULLY DELICIOUS. I highly recommend the Hogenville Grill to anyone & the cost was inexpensive . I cant complement them enough. We all had country fried steak, mashed potatoes, creamed corn, ( some of the best I’ve ever had), a hot biscuit & delicious coffee. THEN, SOME OF THE BEST COCONUT CREAM PIE EVER. WE ALSO SAMPLED DERBY PIE , SINCE I’M NOT ORIGINALLY FROM HERE. AND OH MY ! DELICIOUS – DELICIOUS. WE’LL FOR SURE BE BACK !! For the CHERRY PIE , ( hint – hint ).

The food here is so amazing! Home cooked food with a family friendly vibe!!!! Judy was so wonderful, best waitress I’ve ever had!!! We had read the reviews, pending a trip to the area. While in the area, we asked the locals and they sent us here!!!! For good reason! You ever go somewhere and the food is so good, you expect to see your own momma walking out of the kitchen? Because only her food has ever been that good, well at the Hodgenville Grill they put mommas food to shame! I love home cooking southern style food and that’s what you get here!!! Thank you judy!!! Best pie ever!!!

My family and I stopped in here on our way back from Kentucky Down Under and Lincolns Birthplace. We loved this place. The staff was awesome and made you feel at home. The food was good ol home cooking. Soooo good and super affordable! This is definitely our go to stop when we are down that way! Loved the hometown feel it had.

Good, simple food. I would have appreciated more food options, but our large group with young kids to grandparents all found something to eat. The owner hooked us up with some fresh baked pies. We had never heard of Derby Pie before, but it was amazing. It reminded us of a soft, chocolate chip cookie with pecans. Yum!

Went on an adventure looking for some biscuits and gravy. Didn’t find any, but once I read the menu and it said “Loaded Baby Bakes” I no longer cared about biscuits and gravy. They were everything you would expect and more. Tiny new potatoes, covered in cheese sauce and bacon bits, sour cream on the side…the pop of flavor when sticking a whole little potato in my mouth and biting down…out of this world. Also had a spunky fun waitress. Great day, great place to eat
