The other day when stopping by our servers name was Kimberly and she was absolutely welcoming and recommended the salad and the hamburger steak so we tried them both they were awesome everything was good as well as the service was top notch! The atmosphere was clean! I had a great time with me and my friends and the food and drinks were delicious, definitely recommend!!!

My family and I were just coming through on our way back home and stopped here to eat and let me tell you!! We loved it! We loved the food, the atmosphere, just everything! They lady who waited on us was so inviting and fun! I think her name was Kimberly! She is great! I can’t wait to come back here again!! I had the chicken fried steak and it was a 100 out of 10!!

10/10 food and service, hochabel is such a great spot! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff is super friendly and attentive The food was fresh hot and delicious I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend Kimberly as a server also she is great, and reading the other reviews whoever left her pillow is insane if she needed her pillow that bad in the first place the she wouldn’t have left it at the hotel.

Found a new favorite spot in Idabel! Hochabel has a great ‘hang out’ vibe and is very well-maintained. Even though they were out of fish last night, our waitress Kimberley handled it perfectly by suggesting the chicken fried steak, which was delicious. Kimberley’s service was excellent—she was very attentive throughout the night. If you’re looking for a clean, comfy spot with affordable drinks and great food, this is it. I’m already planning my next visit!”

Ventured over to try out the new restaurant in town. Easy to find parking, rooms available to rent for out-of towners with restaurants available within walking distance. Staff was super friendly, with plenty of seating, a beautiful new building. There is a decent selection of menu items. Everything was plated well with generous portion sizes. The food was great. Only downfall, we came after a huge Mother’s Day rush, and some menu items were not available. We were absolutely understanding and didn’t make our experience bad at all. The staff was apologetic and gave us a huge cookie with ice cream dolloped on top. We’re definitely coming back again. Give it a try if you’re in town!

3 out of 5 people got the chicken fried steak and OMG nothing but gristle and small peice of meat. I was very disappointed! My husband had the Philly cheese steak the meat and veggies were burnt. My daughter said the burger was good and the fries.

Apparently med/well= well done & the best they can do is 20% off your next visit, as if I would come back after them making excuses for not knowing how to properly cook a BREAKFAST STEAK! & very bland, no seasoning whatsoever. Didn’t even attempt to take accountability, just place the blame elsewhere. 0/10. Will not be back.

Really gross behavior from the owner who left a FALSE AND NEGATIVE review on the business page of one of their guests as retaliation for them not having any integrity and accountability to return a guest’s pillow that was accidentally left behind. The guest made it clear they would pay for shipping and handling as well. I will certainly not spend my time or money at a place that treats their guests like this. Not to mention their lack of communication abilities. One star all around.

I am very disappointed in the way my daughter has been treated over trying to get a $200 pillow returned. She accidentally left it when we stayed at this establishment. My daughter has called numerous times. Now they will not take her calls. I would suggest to someone that is considering staying here the should go somewhere else.

Home cooked feel, friendly staff, food is always good. Fries are freshly cut and worth every penny. Love coming here and giving my money to a small business instead of a corporation. Drafts are always cold, tvs always have what we want to watch on, and the back patio is spacious and comfy.
