Driving from Key West to Miami, we decided to grab lunch. Hobo’s had great reviews so we decided to stop.
Service was great! We sat outside. Very nice.
Food was excellent! My husband had the Hobo Sandwich & I had a special – the key Lime Chicken wrap.

One of the best restaurants in the bay. They’re famous for their lobster sandwiches. We got Lobster sandwich and lobster and shrimp only sandwich along with coffee. Both were amazing, fresh and the meat was juicy and cooked to perfection. Every bit was moorish and the portion size was good enough to fill a big appetite. The coffee was freshly brewed and refreshing. Overall a great experience. Their service was amicable and they had ample of indoor and outdoor seating areas.

Went for happy hour but they only honor those prices AT the bar. Ok, that’s fine so we ordered the Seafood Sampler and a bacon/bleu cheese burger.
Seafood platter:
The mahi was very dry but the coconut shrimp were good.
The conch fritters (less than a tbsp scoop) must have been fried awhile ago bc there was no crunch & i didn’t visibly see any conch. But they were ok.
We weren’t fans of the dip but it wasn’t awful.
The burger
Ordered medium rare but more medium …. which is ok but the bacon gave me thoughts of pork tapeworms bc it was somewhat undercooked for me.
The waffle fries were the best part of the meal.
Staff was friendly and food came out fast and warm but we probably won’t be coming back bc there’s other restaurants that, I hope, are better.
Overall, not awful but not worth coming back to.

We were seated quickly and our server was attentive even though he was quite busy. The food was outstanding. We started with the Conch Fritters and we had the Sloppy Hobo (wow, that thing was huge) and crab stuffed shrimp. Both were delicious. Chefs kiss!

The food was fresh and delicious. Gator meat was very tender and cooked to perfection. The fries were liked by all the kids. All the seafood dishes were superb. Service was fast and even though we ordered a lot of food (we were a big group), the food came out quickly and was fresh.

We’ve been to Hobo’s 3 times on our drive down to Key West and we look forward to it more and more each trip❤️
This time the Onion Ring Loaf stole the show! Menu says it feeds 2 people, but we think 4 people could easily share this crispy delight and be satisfied!
We get the Fish Quesadilla each time and Hobo’s has consistently delivered a high quality ‘dilla! So meaty… So cheesey
Waffle Fries with the Fish Sandwich are amazing – but the real star is that Key Lime Butter Sauce slathered on that I just want to bathe in

This place is a hidden gem. The service was fantastic. The inside area is nice, but. Star noisy. Not too bad though. The outside seating was very quiet and had a nice ambiance. The food…absolutely fantastic and considerable cheaper than some of the places hir with comparable, or even LESS delicious food that charge you just because you are in the keys or because you can see the ocean from your chair. There is no compromise for this place. Great food. Great service. Great prices. We will definitely be coming back here often. If you get the catch of the day, try key lime style, it’s to die for.
