Loved the outdoor seating area just wish it was bigger, also liked the live music… we had a wait of about 25 mins… not bad for a newer place in town. Service was slow and the menu was sticky… the hostess was wiping them off as we came up. I had the honey hot chicken… good flavor but the chicken was small compared to the bun so all I tasted was mostly bread. My wife had fish tacos {she had shrimp before) she liked both. The homemade chips were good, the Cajun fries not as good as Bojangles. The pimento cheese fritters were very good. It took a while for our food to come out as others seated about the same time had theirs quicker. I will definitely be back more so for the outdoor seating and the music I will probably try a burger next time. Definitely worth a try.

This was my second time at Hobos in South Carolina. This time (second time) being at the new location and it was just as good as the first time. However, I do not believe I had the VooDoo burger before and it was freaking fire. It was delicious. The Cajun fries were also great, but it doesn’t seem like they were homemade cut fries, these seemed like they were frozen fries this time but nonetheless they were good but not great. The service was great also, even though they were packed they still took orders and had food out in a very much reasonable time.

This place is a hidden gem! I ordered the chicken and waffle sandwich and it was delicious!! The bacon waffle with a tender and crispy chicken breast was all that!!! My husband ordered the shrimp tacos and those were just as good as my dish! It’s kind and family friendly and the food and service will not disappoint!! Although I ordered a drink from the bar I believe it was a cruzn fusion..it was very watery and you could not taste the rum at all!! I decided for one of the beers which was good! It’s a must try!! I will definitely be back!!

This is definitely a college area restaurant. It has a bit of a cafeteria feel, that also has booths. Pretty busy even though it was fairly late. The appetizer we had was the brisket chips and it was huge and was pretty good, but very saly by the end. We finished it between the two of us but that left us taking our burgers home. The burgers looked great at the time we got them, likely not as dood reheated, so I would recommend taking them to go unless you are going to eat them right away. The waitress was friendly. Overall the food was okay. When we went there was a live musician playing, but probably would have been better with just background music.

Let me tell you I was super excited to come here the parking is generous and the atmosphere is nice. The bar drinks are priced very well. They have a little put put course outside for the kids to play while you wait. Inside the restaurant is very spacious and modern. Now to the food. I ordered Teriyaki wings as an appetizer and the chicken was kind of flavorless and bland and the price of 6 wings are about $10. The burger was okay not bad but the actual patty needed some seasoning. I do love the flame broiled taste and the patty remained juicy with every bite. I will check out this place again and try another item from the menu. But can definitely be a good happy hour spot.

This is our first visit to Hobo’s. We came on recommendation from one of our students. First graders know best!! The atmosphere is great–family-friendly, very open, and lots of seating (inside and outside). Our waitress, Keke, is amazing–friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, which isn’t always the case for some restaurants. Listen, check this place out! Bring friends, bring your family, or go by yourself. Just go!! You won’t be disappointed. P.S. Order the turkey melt!! Oh my!!
