Love this place. It’s a “come as you are” type place . Service is fantastic, bartenders/servers appear to really care about the service and experience they provide. Food is tasty. Atmosphere/vibes are stellar! Live music some nights. If you’re ever in the area, you won’t regret spotting here.

Was very excited to try this tavern while in the area as it seemed to have many options for vegans. However, this ended up not being the case when ordering, as I found out the fries were not vegan because they are cooked in the same oil as the animal products. Okay, big deal, that’s pretty common at omni restaurants. But when I ordered my entree, the chickpea fritters, my waiter informed me that it was same case for anything else fried. So that left ONE option marked vegan as actually being vegan: the baked tofu club. It was pretty good, but certainly not my first or second choice of dinner. Was very disappointed about the misleading menu, as I would have had no idea unless I asked about the fries. I’m sure many have assumed items marked vegan would be free of cross contamination, and would be upset to learn that their meal was cooked in the same oil as chicken wings or mozzarella sticks, especially if they have food allergies. My hope is that HOB will learn from this and use separate oil for vegan options. Or at the very least, disclose on menu about cross contamination. As it stands, I cannot recommend HOB Tavern to vegans.

nice atmosphere, good music. Food has potential, nice vegan options but the bun used on burgers is too big; reminds me of old commercials of “Where’s the beef?”. overall a good place.

This was an excellent find. The food was really delicious and well presented. The staff was very friendly, and attentive. You could sense allot of pride in the way they treated their customers. The tavern itself is old world nostalgic, with a young enthusiastic staff. Pleasantly impressed enough for a return visit when back in the area

I went and ordered wings at the bar, the bartender was very welcoming and friendly. The crowd was laid back and nice I sat at the bar and waited for my order. I ordered PB&J,Whiskey & Cowboy wings to go. They were delicious. I can’t wait to try the other flavors.
