Very friendly greeting. This is a diamond in the rough. It was my birthday, and I was hearing great things about their food. They made suggestions as far as their top sellers. We had one and picked a few of our favorites. We didn’t have to wait long but I imagine if there was a line, timing changes but it would be well worth the wait! Every dish was wow. Super fresh and not drenched in sauces but just enough for the fantastic flavor. I have been to many Chinese restaurants in a lot of different locals and of course SF. But this food was spectacular! Highly recommend! They do a lot of take out too. Get the wings appetizer! Wow and wow

As someone who formerly worked in a Chinese restaurant this restaurant had a lot of tasty dishes! We tried the walnut shrimp, salt and pepper squid (really crispy dough) and pan-fried Hong Kong chow mein (not commonly found in many restaurants so this was a nice surprise). Portion sizes were generous and flavor was good too. Would definitely recommend!

The first time I went to Ho Wah was late last year and I’ve gone a few times again since then. I love supporting local businesses and this place definitely deserves the love. The food is great and the staff is always kind and respectful towards me. This has become a go to spot for me and my friends when we’re in Marina and often a place we crave when thinking of dining out. Their salt and pepper wings are definitely a must order item and I’m glad our server Kyle recommended them the first time I went, because I order it often now.

Our first time visit and we were very impressed with the cuisine and friendly service. Staff were custom focused, offered dining suggestions and checked in on us often to ensure we were enjoying our meal. I ordered the Szechuan delight (mixed seafood) and wife ordered Szechuan noodles combo and had salt-n-pepper chicken as appetizers. Everything was delicious and portions were so large we had to get a to-go box for later.

Awwwe boo I didn’t get to try the food. I thought I’d go for take way today since spouse is out of town and it seemed like a good solution for dinner. Been hearing good things about it. I planned it carefully, taking my break in route because my lunch break is short and my time is your time. I called at 1:30 thinking it gave a good amount of time before closing mid day break at 2:30. They put me on hold. That was fine but after 6.5 minutes I started thinking they forgot about me and I also heard lots of clanging like they were getting ready to close. I hung up and called back getting that recorded, “recipient unavailable try back later”. I switched gears and got what I needed from Tommy’s Wok. A time consuming hiccup that ripples through your community. Go to beautiful Carmel instead

I had a great experience at this restaurant! The food was delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. The chicken wings were especially amazing so fresh, crispy and perfectly seasoned. Everything we ordered tasted great, and the service was friendly and fast. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Such great food! This place was recommended by a local. Truly fell in love! The staff are so sweet! Highly recommend the salt and pepper dishes! Loved my green beans combo plate. Would come back when I visit!
