I recently ordered the firat time here and got the scallop meal from How Wah Chinese Restaurant, and while the scallops were absolutely amazing perfectly cooked and full of flavor. I was a bit disappointed that the fries were missing from my order. The portion size also felt more like a kid’s meal than a full entrée. That said, the quality of the scallops really stood out, so I’m willing to give them another try and hope for a better experience next time.

Went in tonight to pick up food and in the refrigerator where the drinks are kept was uncovered food. There was fried chicken wings in a pan (with no covering) with a dirty bucket sitting in top of it with raw chicken in it. The bucket had visible brown dirt on it.

If I could give this restaurant less than one star I would! The service is HORRIBLE. I honestly don’t understand how they are still in business. I placed a to-go order, and was given the wrong food. Ok, no problem, I understand that can sometimes happen, especially when you have a CHILD taking orders. But what I don’t understand is how the owner was so dismissive and rude about the situation. No apology, no compensation for having to go all the way back for the food I actually ordered. Instead of talking the CHILD they had working there, I wanted to talk to the owner. She ignored me and when I asked why she was ignoring me, she stated because she was busy. This place is the worst! I highly recommend NOT going there.

I’ve been going to this place for about 30 years, however the owner that was there 25-30 years ago is no longer there. The front of the business is okay but can use an update, the cook’s are no longer the same as well as the child labor laws are not in place. My husband and I once enjoyed the food, and the beef lomein was his favorite and my was the shrimp fried rice both of these dishes is not being prepared to the standards that they have been in the past. I don’t prefer to order anything more from this place it’s awful and I don’t see any future in supporting a business on this level….. Poor food preparation and not sure if the chicken is real chicken, be careful and check your order and food before making a purchase….
On a scale of 1 -10 I will give this restaurant a 1 however 25 year’s ago I was giving them a 10…. The worst sweet and sour chicken I have ever seen and it didn’t even look like real chicken wasn’t sure what to think but it wasn’t appealing or appetizing..

Went in and ordered terrible lunch and vegetable delight. They gave me 5 Teriyaki sticks and vegetable delight. I paid $23.00. I was on a hurry but when I got home and realized what they had done I called them and they pretended that had not just been in there. The they told me that there was another Chinese restaurant with the same name on Jahnke road. I will never go that restaurant again and will encourage everybody I know to stay away from there. The are not honest people.

they are so money hungry and greedy. i placed an order for one hunan shrimp and broccoli and one hunan chicken and broccoli and recieved two hunan shrimp and broccoli even though i specified my order due to my child having a shrimp allergy. they told me to bring my human shrimp and broccoli back to the restaurant which is 100% a good violation because what are they going to do with recycled human shrimp and broccoli ? i brought back my order and got my replacement but asked for an egg roll for the inconvenience and they said no . never again will i order from here
