Got the famed iced BBL (banana bread latte—unfortunately they do not provide the rear enhancing service that shares the same acronym here).

While I will say it was a unique flavor (banana forward, slight bready taste), it was quite expensive for the small at almost $10 and it was gone in what felt like a few sips. If you’re staying in Waikiki and driving up here just to try it, not sure I’d recommend that. But if you’re coupling it with just chilling at the Ritz Carlton the cafe is inside of afterwards or visiting the nearby Kahuku sugar mill, I’d say it’s worth a try while you’re in the area.

Their viral BBL (banana bread latte) lives up to the hype. Service was fast & friendly. Located inside the lobby of the beautiful turtle bay resort.

Finally a hotel coffee ☕️ shop for coffee lovers! Ho-olana isn’t only pretty to look at, the friendly team also serves the best coffee on Oahu’s North Share.

And the biggest plus (super-smart thinking of the Turtle Bay Resort management), opening is 5:30 am — finally someone realized that most visitors to Hawaii come from a different time zone and what better way to start your day or vacation than with a great coffee!!!

Beautiful spot to grab a drink to go (I recommend the BBL) and hit the road. The space was relatively quiet when we visited, but I can see why people grab a seat – the view is spectacular.

Some of the best coffee we’ve tried so far on the north shore. The cold brew was great. No bitterness at all and very flavorful. The mac nut latte was perfectly done. They also have a coconut pineapple muffin that was delightful.

If you haven’t heard of it already, you have to try the BBL! The banana bread latte! I thought it was really good and the name is hilarious.

On the other hand, the pineapple coconut muffin I had was subpar

Excellent coffee, very hot! We even saw three Hawaiian Monk Seals! But, be advised that we *never* saw anyone wipe off any tables in three visits during which we sat and drank our coffee.

The wife and I try to come up here at least once a month. The service is amazing and they are the friendliest people on the island.

The only redeeming quality of this place is the view — and that’s where the positives end.

We ordered a chocolate croissant, a butter croissant, a quiche, and some coffee. Unfortunately, the croissants were a major letdown. They were soft, flavorless, and had none of the texture or richness you’d expect from a proper croissant. Frankly, they looked and tasted like someone’s first attempt at baking — and not a successful one.

The quiche was even worse. Calling it a quiche feels like an insult to actual quiches. It lacked flavor, structure, and any trace of quality — it honestly shouldn’t be on the menu.

Coffee was just okay. Nothing special, certainly not worth returning for.

On the bright side, the staff were friendly and polite, and the service was fine overall. But unless you’re only coming for the view, there are far better places to spend your time and mone

When staying at the Ritz-Carlton at Turtle Bay, Ho-olana is a great place to stop for a cup of coffee and a bite to eat. The drinks are absolutely delicious and you must try the breakfast burrito. The breakfast burrito is full with eggs, ham, bacon, cheese. All wrapped in a nice soft tortilla comes with a nice side of salsa. Perfect way to start the day with a drink and a bite to eat. The view is absolutely spectacular. Definitely get up early and grab a cup of coffee and watch the sun rise from the comfortable chairs in the lobby.
