Wasn’t pleased. Was asked what I wanted, I asked for A MENU and received attitude after that. Burger was dry, no seasoning, cold bun, cold cheese, like there was no effort at all. Place is filthy. Felt like I was irritating staff when I asked for a refill, a napkin, and when I paid. All 3 times I’ve been there have NOT been in any way a pleasant experience.

If your not from the area don’t bother going here. Tried it for a second time on prime rib night. Was told they might be out of prime rib then she went to another table of kids she obviously knew and told them if they wanted prime rib to order it now it was first come first served. It’s ok because the food wasn’t that great. Chicken fried steak was a paper thin piece of meat with extra extra crispy breading. I had the dinner and it was the same size and piece as the sandwich my wife had. Salad was shredded taco lettuce with about a cherry tomato size tomato sliced up and a few carrot shavings. Pretty much a joke.

For years we’ve eaten there during hunting season and always have a great meal. They raise their own beef and have the best hamburgers. Food is always just a little bit better when the owner herself is cooking. If they have the buffet again, don’t miss it.

A typical small down bar/Cafe but the food was great. I had the Santa fe burger. Ate a late lunch and was the only food customer, service was great and fast.
