Combo plate #11 with spring roll substitute and sweet and sour chicken pieces. Delicious! Everything was steaming hot. Very nice staff! The bathroom was a little old and not 100% clean, but the food was amazing.

Delicious and fresh. Lemon chicken was crispy, not a lot of breading, and delicious. Loads of fresh vegetables and the beef just melted in your mouth. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Decor is a bit dated, but don’t let that stop you from visiting. This is my go-to place for Chinese.

We have been eating at the HO HO for 42 years it was always great food. The past few years the quality of the food has been honestly none eatable . 2 months ago we did a huge order for a dinner party. No one could eat it as it was burnt. Spoke with owner they gave us a free chicken balls for the next time. So we tried again maybe it was just a bad night. NOPE. That order was disgusting as well burnt. Now this bring me to tonight order A1 2 extra egg rolls, wo tons and a tub of honey garlic chicken balls.
It is easy to understand their food is not longer fresh. The only thing that was warm was the cherry sauce for the chicken balls. The rest was room temp almost stale like. Egg rolls were tough, and the honey garlic balls that had the sauce on them. We’re extremely dry. Like everything else.
After 42 years we have called it quits with the HO HO. QUALITY IS GONE.
IF I WANT ALOT OF BATTER I WILL MAKE PANCAKES.

Pleasant restaurant tucked away behind all the hustle. Locals recommended this place, and we had to try. Did not disappoint . Great service and amazing food for the price.
There is no buffet, just in case you are going to ask… but really good food.

Me and my mother stop going because it’s not the same it was 2-3 years ago. Stop by a couple days ago, food was cold and portions were tiny. Cheap yes, but food should be at least ‘warm’

In my opinion, this is the best Chinese food in Truro. Great prices, friendly staff and great food. It’s a go to when I forget my lunch with their incredible lunch specials and every holiday we put an order in here. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.
