No MSG is a big deal for me! We just moved to the area and were hoping to find a good Chinese restaurant. We are happy to have found Ho Ho Kicthen down the street from us. The food was fresh and delicious and the service was excellent.

This is very much like a traditional New York Chinese restaurant. It is a take out kitchen with a couple of tables in case someone wants to sit, but is not a sit down service restaurant. This was my first time here, but the food was good for a Chinese restaurant out in rural New Jersey. I will be going back to try the other things on the menu, but I recommend the spare ribs and sesame chicken.

What I do really like is that my wife is extremely particular about ingredients (hates mushrooms and eggs). The family there have been accommodating and will modify their dishes for us. We probably get takeout once a month from here.

Pleasantly surprised by the food. My son and I shared a beef and broccoli lunch special. Came with pork fried rice. Very good portions and was very tasty. It’s not a fancy place, by no means, but great for takeout. Id definitely order from here again. A bottle of soda and an order of beef and broccoli lunch special came out to a little over $11.00

I phoned in an order for chicken fried rice while biking the nearby Columbia Trail. They prepared the order so fast and the trail was so muddy that when I arrived 30 minutes later, I was afraid I was only going to get warm food. The friendly cashier offered to heat it back up for me at no extra charge! I gladly accepted and enjoyed a hot, delicious meal before continuing on my trail ride.

Menu items have improved greatly. Good for take out, dining area is just a few tables, more for the lunch crowd than dinner when they open up for indoor dining again. Good for the locals and if your in the area, not a destination dining experience. Kitchen is in full view so you can see all, I like that. Staff are very friendly. In my opinion to get better you’d have to drive to Hackettstown.

The worst chinese food I have ever had. I ordered fried won ton that was tasteless and the sauce was like play dough. I also ordered steamed dumpling and I was given plain soy sauce for dipping. The egg rolls were ok.
