Ho Fan Restaurant is a local family owned Chinese restaurant. We are now under new management and located in the food court above the DVS center in downtown St. Paul. We are now partnered with Doordash for delivery as of Jan 2021! Please park and enter at 445 Minnesota Street in downtown Saint Paul. Then go up the escalators to the food court.

Got recommended this place from a coworker a while back. The main dishes I get are from the Cook-To-Order sign outside the shop, and for the slightly higher price, it’s worth it. Hot and fresh food, flavors are great, and portion size is large enough to feed you the whole day. Highly recommend!

Good local food, love their quality and quantity, staffs are helpful, you can eat at the food court. Reasonable price . We tried chicken lo mein that was delicious and lots of chicken in the dish. Good fast food. I had Kung Pao with fried rice. The Kung Pao was sweeter and less spicy, but I think that’s what I expect in a food court. The amount and variety of vegetables in the dish was great. All the staff was friendly and polite.

Love the food! I’ve ordered a large take out meal from Ho Fan for our ECFE class. The families and kids loved it, and owner is a chill guy, easy to work with. I plan on using Ho Fan again for our ECFE program. This time I’m going to bring menus to hand out as so many asked where Ho Fan was located.

Excellent value for the quantity of food. Chicken fried rice was tasty and had large chunks of chicken and they were able to customize it to have no onions for me. Pleasantly surprised that they asked what spice level I wanted so I got nicely spicy rice. Cream cheese wontons have a decent amount of cream cheese. Staff were friendly. Will definitely be back to try more menu items.

Hands down some of the best Chinese food around. The eggrolls are outstanding, will not get eggrolls from anywhere else now. The beef lomein is delicious they use thin egg noodles and the beef is fresh and not altered like some other Chinese restaurants. I’m so opposed to Velveeting beef it gives a weird texture and flavor. Egg Fu Yung is YUMMY with huge patties with gravy on the side. I used Uber Eats for delivery and this whole experience has been perfect!!

I usually don’t write reviews! My coworker told me about this restaurant a little while ago. I was a little hesitant when I first went there. I’m so glad I decided to give it a shot! I can confidently say this is the best Chinese food I had in forever! I will recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciate authenticity and quality. Their price is reasonable and the customer service is the best and they are right on time. This place will definitely be my go to!
