Unlike cafes in (real) Hong Kong, this place is clean; clean floor, restroom, and clean utensils (up to US standards).
We usually go there very late at nights when we return from a trip, and it’s comforting to know there’s still a place open late. Their operation hours at 8AM-2AM! We’ve also tried their breakfast; excellent jook/ congee, HK style milk tea, and pineapple buns.
I would say the chicken steak with egg burger does not go well together with the pineapple flavor.
Your best bet is to go for the specific congee, pineapple bun, and 2 side dishes set. If you add in the burger, you’ll also struggle to finish it.
Congee is amazing and standard. The pineapple bun flakey and fresh. The vermicelli is oily and salty.
From the moment I walked in, the cashier ignored me while I stood at the counter.
When I finally asked if I could order to go, she responded with, “You order already?” in an irritated tone. When I said no and asked for a menu, she pointed behind me instead of handing me one. Throughout the interaction, she rolled her eyes, rushed me, and tossed the pen and check holder onto the counter.
Before I had even finished placing my order, she was already speaking to the “person in charge” about me — complaining that I was coming in trying to order to go. I was standing right there. It was incredibly unprofessional.
After I placed my order, she then went to speak with a completely different coworker. Again, they were talking about me openly, assuming I couldn’t understand them. It was blatant and extremely disrespectful.
At that point, I no longer felt comfortable accepting food from a place where multiple employees were openly mocking and complaining about me. Who knows what they could do to my food… I requested a refund and asked for a manager, only to be told there wasn’t one available.
No customer should be treated this way simply for walking in and trying to order food. I left feeling disrespected and uneasy.

Hearing staff openly talk about a customer in another language, assuming they won’t understand, is so unprofessional and creates an uncomfortable environment. It made me question how other customers who don’t understand the language might be treated.
Ths service was lacking for sure and true to Hong kong fashion, service was bad. They rushed you to order and the food came fast but all the food was very bland. We got a baked chicken rice and it was lukewarm and it tasted like they threw watered down ketchup on top of a chicken steak and threw some cheese on top. As much as this place is hyped up, it definitely was very disappointing. Great breakfast price but very disappointing flavors.
Service was good, they took our orders right away and the food arrived. However, the pineapple bun took forever to arrived. It was more than 40 minutes and everyone finished their porridge/noodles when the sandwich arrived. This pineapple bun was underwhelming and not worth the wait. Will not get it again.
I ordered the Singaporean fried rice vermicelli and the Portugese chicken. The vermicelli was good. The chicken was ok; it was more on the sweet side (from the coconut) and needed more rice. Adding the peppercorn and black pepper helped with the taste.
It’s a cute little restaurant with a nice Macau theme.
Customer service was good.
There’s parking outside, but it may not be enough parking when it gets packed.
If you pay with credit card, there’s a minimum you need to spend ($15). I spent about $36 on the 2 dishes plus tip.
