For those that know them, Heath and Judy have really refined and made what was already a good place, even better. Our server Brook, was super attentive, friendly, and professional. She helped us with some of our food options and made great helpful recommendations. The owner came around and chatted and was also helping w/every section in the restaurant as well. We had drinks, appetizers(cheese curds, Spinach Dip, and Seafood Dip) and our dinner, 3 Teriyaki Chicken, Catfish Platter, Seafood Bucket, Alfredo Chicken, Lemon Drop and Pineapple Martini’s. The homemade Tartar Sauce was great, the sides were all great from the fries, the green beans, all the way down to the moist baked potatoes. Phenomenal job and very happy to give a full rated review. Tip the staff and enjoy some good dinner.

Price is compared to any fancy seafood place in KC.
Come when it’s dry, if you are in a low riding vehicle. Steep, gravel driveway, is the reason.
Overall, will be back. Try it!! Won’t be disappointed.

Buckle up, people … I’m going to take you on an adventure of our dining experience. We came in for dinner at 9p on a Friday night (they close at 10p – according to the signs out by the highway, on the door & their Google listing). There were several large parties already seated so it was a little loud & chaotic. We were greeted by a hostess & asked if we wanted to squeeze into a booth – we have 3 adults, a teenager & a 10-year old so we are NOT going to fit comfortably in a booth. So, instead of putting 2 tables together, they put a chair at the end of a 4-top table.
We sat for more than 5 minutes before someone came by to ask us if we’ve been helped & when we said no, you’d think she’d apologize & take our drink order for our server. Nope. She decides to yell across the restaurant “Who got this table? Payton? You got a table!” Then, she walks away
There was a large party seated nearby who were clearly intoxicated. They continued to drink more alcohol, get louder & drop several f-bombs. Should we have complained to the owner? Why when he was the one making drinks, serving them & enjoying a drink of his own with them?
When we got our food, it was pretty underwhelming & room temperature
The only thing which was hot was the seafood bucket – it had a crab cluster, crawfish, shrimp, potatoes, sausage & corn tossed in a spicy Cajun seasoning
For $42, it better have been hot & it was probably the only thing that had been eaten.
The catfish special with fries was room temperature. The bacon in the BLT was not warm. The crab cakes were salty & the texture seemed like they were probably frozen, then cooked.
We were checked on a few times by our server to see if we needed anything but no one ever asked, “How was everything?” It’s probably not a good sign when you have to get your own drink refill.
At this point, we just wanted our check, pay & leave.
We left at about 945p. Word of caution, if you plan to leave after 930p, you will be walking out to a completely black out dark GRAVEL parking lot. Oh, did I mention the parking lot is very uneven & has several potholes?? Make sure you’ve got your flashlight on.
Maybe we went on an off night & we usually like to give a place the benefit of a doubt but some things can’t be overlooked.
Happily will not be back, definitely do not recommend, try at your own risk!
*our bill was +$130 for 5 people (crab cake appetizer with a baked potato, catfish special, BLT, cheeseburger w/fries, seafood bucket & 5 sodas)

I was visiting Missouri from Flordia. Their food reminded me of Florida’s seafood boils! It was super delicious. Also, I would highly recommend their oysters.

I ordered the Catfish Po Boy with loaded baked potato for dinner. And it was absolutely delicious! The potato could have had a bit more toppings on it but still good none the less. Unfortunately there were no desert options as I was told when asking that the truck never delivered it. The waiter asked if I had a choice for him to order, what would I like to see them start getting. I told him something not bought, something homemade lol. The service was a little slow as it took about 10 min to get out drink order. And about another 30 min once the food was ordered. I had to track down the waiter and ask for refills which I don’t much care for. The place was not very busy as there were one big table that came in right b4 us. They had maybe 14 people and a dog. It felt more like a bar atmosphere then a restaurant. He bill wasn’t too high. I’d go again but not when I’m hungry and ready to eat.

Hot wings, great. Drinks, cold and great. The bucket, steak, blackened salmon and shrimp alfredo, great . Service so pleasant and attentive. Definitely will return.
