This was my first time here for brunch and it was such a great time! The service was great the food was greater! The vibe of the restaurant was chill and relaxed but things were getting done. We ordered chicken and waffles, lamb chops and potatoes with french toast (not pictured) and a build a breakfast fried chicken, eggs potatoes and pancakes. Oh heavens the pancakes were delicious and fluffy. The fried chicken was crispy and yummy! The lamb chops were seasoned to perfection! We enjoyed the holiday drinks as well and they were so good and strong!!

My wife and I visited the Hive Café on Sunday morning around 9:30 AM. Upon our arrival, we were greeted with warm smiles and fantastic hospitality. The service was attentive and exceptional.
We ordered the shrimp and grits, which I rated a 7 out of 10; I wished for a bit more consistency with the grits and thought the Cajun butter could be toned down, but the flavor was excellent. The lamb chops were seasoned perfectly and cooked to medium-well, earning a solid 10 from me. I also enjoyed a well-mixed tequila sunrise. My wife opted for the French toast and fried chicken, which looked incredible.
Overall, this place is a winner in our eyes and will likely become a breakfast favorite!

This was my third visit, and since I live in Atlanta but come to St. Louis often, I’m on the hunt for a regular go-to spot.. Aside from a few changes I wasn’t expecting, the food and service were outstanding. Big thanks to Ms. Brittany she was accommodating and made the experience even better.. The lamb chops were absolutely amazing! I did miss my whole wings, but the party wings definitely held me over… I would recommend this place also, they off military discount with proper ID!

It’s been a minute since I’ve had a place I don’t have much to complain about! Nice atmosphere. They greeted appropriately, took order fast, food was a small wait but considerable for the establishment. Staff was nice and had good energy!! I’d definitely come back!

This was my husband and I second time visiting Hive Cafe and I must say it does not disappoint. The food is fresh, hot, and obviously of great quality. The Service is impeccable! The four women in the front of the restaurant worked together smoothly with no hiccups and with smiles on their face. It is apparent that they like what they do. Hive Cafe reminds me of one of the old neighborhood spots that has good, food, great charm, and old school friendly customer service. Great Job to the whole team at Hive Cafe! Keep doing a great job!

Today we my first time attending. The wait time was about 20 minutes. The hostess was very attentive and kept us updated about our table. Our waitress was Christine. She needs some more training. We ordered Mimosa and she brought out the wrong juice and didn’t give us napkins. I also made a mistake and forgot that I ordered pancakes instead of a waffle. It was part of the meal. I ate it and my daughter who’s on the spectrum who eat the waffle because I ate some of it. I asked could they cook another one. I tried explaining what happened but they seemed confused. I was told I would have to pay for the waffle which I agreed to do but it was $13. It wasn’t worth that. And the Mimosa isn’t worth it because they charge $25 for a bottle of Andre’s. No ma’am.

So my sister, nephew and I went to the Hive Cafe and it was crowded. So I’m in a wheelchair and my nephew pushed me inside. We get there and had to pick our on table, which was dirty as we were coming into the building. First of all the building isn’t handicapped accessible and it was cold in the building! We ordered our food at the same time. My food came out first. The plate had two small Salmon croquettes on it , a cup of rice, and a biscuit! The price was $18 and I didn’t get full! We ordered . We ordered a bottle of champagne and pineapple juice, it was warm! So I had to use the restroom, rolled back there and couldn’t use it because it’s not handicapped accessible and I couldn’t get in there! So I left and went down the street.

I had an incredible dining experience at Hive Cafe in Ferguson! The food was absolutely phenomenal, bursting with flavor and presented beautifully. Although the service was a tad slow, it was well worth the wait as the food came out quickly and did not disappoint. The staff was amazing—friendly, attentive, and genuinely warm, which added to the overall fantastic atmosphere. Food is fire on the weekends, the atmosphere gives party atmosphere. Fun upbeat weekdays. It’s fun, upbeat calm! Wheelchair accessible food is delicious catfish fillet very crunchy scramble cheese eggs very fancy grits delicious caramel latte delicious! Come support this business, they’re awesome!
