Parking was terrible, we ended up parking way down the street and thats okay, but when we went up to the inside to order, they ignored us forever. We finally got to order and they made us feel like they didn’t want us there or to ask us any questions. After we stepped out, a couple after us walked to their cars talking about how they weren’t going to eat somewhere that can’t provide decent service. Getting our food took forever and they forgot 1 of our drinks and it was still the wrong size. Also they only take cash or check. Food was thrown together, but those onions rings were definitely delicious! Probably not going back.

It was a bit disappointing. It’s neat cause it is historic. My family got hamburgers, and I should have too. They looked yummy. I got a turkey sandwich, and it was sad. Oh, I also got a coleslaw, and it was better.

Enjoyed a sloppy Joe, more than I thought I would! Also go a float and a shake. All good, good prices and cool building from 1935 I think. Not alot of parking but plenty of street partying if the lot is full. No large vehicle parking. Five spots with waitress service at your car.

An amazing opportunity for new ownership, but just awful as of June 2023. The burgers were hockey pucks. The onion rings were nicely battered, but completely unseasoned. And the sloppy joes — the main draw… imagine a church basement pot luck sloppy joe cookoff: The Kegs would be last place. Oof. The young employees were very friendly and helpful, but the adults running the place clearly didn’t want to be there. The only reason to visit The Kegs is history and nostalgia, and they completely failed to deliver. A shame, because the simple menu should be an easy win for any competent restauranteur, and the history of the location is its own advertising.

Haven’t been here in years, hasn’t changed a bit just a simple no frills hamburger stand, been here since the 30’s

Have loved this place since I was a kid. The Monster burger is amazing and they have the best onion rings I’ve ever had. And the Cherry Coke is like no other.

You step back in time. It was food like the fifties. Burgers were fresh and juicy had the works. Onion rings were spectacular..not over battered. Mom and pop place. No hours posted. We just happened to drive by and it was open. Iconic…highly recommend.

Whenever we move to a new city, we try out the local fare. This place is a great little burger drive-in. It’s a little building that is accented by two large “kegs” on either side, hence the name. My family of four ate there for less than $30 and the burgers are great. They even have different flavors that you can add to your drinks. My wife got a chocolate Coke. Bring cash though as they do not accept credit cards. If you need cash, there’s a bank just across the railroad tracks from the restaurant.

Unfortunately, they may only have the history going for them. The food is fine, but nothing special. I appreciate the low cost (I had the sloppy joe’s), but there was nothing sloppy about my joe, as it was a thin layer of meat between about four times as much bun.

Ordered 9 sloppy Joe’s with pickles and onions and a pizza burger combo. None of the sloppy Joe’s had pickles or onions, and the pizza burger turned out to be a chicken sandwich. Not very impressed.
