We had a lovely birthday celebration for my grandson. He was missing the flavors from home. We had lovely dinner. Great food with attentive server. It was sweet to hear actual music he recognized and sang along. Definitely will return. The eel was fantastic.

Hands down the best sushi I’ve had in Flag, maybe ever! The rice was so soft and the rolls were incredibly flavorful, delicious and well-priced. I really enjoyed my experience here and am looking forward to coming back.

Happy to find this place!! Finally we were able to satisfy our palettes. My wife and I truly enjoyed our dinner, so delicious. The service is great, the owner ( Mr Hiro) even checked on us to make sure everything is alright. Try it! Good food and great service.

I know it’s Flagstaff and that being from Phoenix I’m kind of spoiled with the plethora of choices and options available for restaurants that serve quality food, but this place was not good. I ordered the Gyodon and shrimp tempura. The tempura batter on the shrimp was way too thick and I could barely taste the shrimp, the Gyodon was way too sweet, had a strange texture when I bit into it, and the sauce was too runny. On top of that I called ahead to get information about the Gyodon before I got there and spoke with two different people and could not get a clear answer. Fool me once shame on me right? At least they took the Gyodon off… ♂️

Everything was slow about our visit – getting seated, having our order taken, getting the food. The yakisoba had far too much sauce on it and only had a small amount of vegetables. Udon wasn’t hot and tasted mainly of soy sauce. Not a good experience.

The food was fantastic! Rainbow sushi, chicken fried rice, and Gyudon were all delicious authentic Japanese. The service was slightly under par for what you would expect from this kind of restaurant, the reason being they were very understaffed and very busy. The owner came over and apologized for the long wait, I’d go back just because he was so kind. The atmosphere was good, nice music, cool paintings and little nic naks. The price was a little high per person but worth it since the food was really good.

I had not been here in many years, but came back last night and it was delicious! We got the shishito peppers, the gyoza, a Vegas roll, and the shrimp shiitake plate, it was all sooooo delicious! We will 100% be back,

Customer Service was lacking.. Teriyaki Salmon was too salty. White rice was delicious but veggies too salty. When they refill your drink they take cup and straw and bring back. Where did my cup go did my straw ever touch anything else? Weird just bring a new drink and cup. Salad was not great and soup was delicious. It was late and employee seemed life less. Not what I expected.

Gyoza was great. Tempura was more crunchy than usual. But fine. Gyudon beef was fine but the onions were very tasty. Better than Yoshinoya. The udon was tasty as well.
