Yummy little Ramen spot! The food was really tasty! The best was the crispy rice spicy tuna! I could have eaten 10 of them! Its a cute tiny spot, most of the seating doesn’t have a back rest. The service was just alright, could be better. They do charge a 17 percent service fee, which in place of a tip. I honestly prefer it, no need to figure out a tip!

Tonkatsu ramen was very rich, i got the thin noodles.
The karaage was sooooo liiiiight, soo goood. It was crispy and juicy, and fresh. 100/10. Good amount portion too.
We got fried rice with spicy tuna, i thought it was just oily.

Wait time for a table on a saturday at 3:30pm, 1hr
Wait time for the shoyu ramen, 1 more hour, only to be told the order wasnt placed

Pretty dang small place. Decor is fun and different. You walk in and there’s a server there to greet you and help you find a spot. There aren’t very many seats in this joint. Food came out pretty quick and the server made great suggestions as the menu isn’t all that big either. Just get the staples. Everything was solid – definitely one of the better ramen spots in the area.

You’re here because you want to know what to eat.

Here’s the list:
• Tonkotsu ramen. Creamy broth. Deep umami. Chashu pork that’s smoky and fall apart tender. This is the one they’re known for and it lives up.

• Braised pork buns. Soft. Warm. Filled with pork that melts instantly. Sweet and savory with just the right bite of pickled onion. Order at least two.

• Karaage fried chicken. Crazy crispy outside. Juicy thigh meat inside. Do not overthink it. Just get it.

• Poke rice bowl. Light. Clean. Surprisingly flavorful. Perfect contrast to the heavier dishes.

If you want the short answer: go to HiroNori, order those four things, and you’ll walk out happy.

And if you want the why, here it is:

I used to hate pork in ramen. Like borderline gag reflex level hate. HiroNori changed that. Their chashu pork hits different. Charred edges. Soft center. Deep flavor that actually makes sense in a bowl. For the first time ever I wanted more pork.

Then the pork buns hit the table. One bite and it was over. The bun is so soft it’s barely there. The meat just dissolves. That quick zing from the pickled onion is perfect. I’d eat five of these as a full meal with zero hesitation.

The karaage is stupid good. The crunch is wild. It sounds like it’s mic’d up. And it stays juicy inside. Not dry like most spots. I’ve had a lot of fried chicken. This one is near the top.

Even the poke bowl surprised me. It’s not trying to be fancy. It’s just good. Avocado. Rice. Fresh tuna. Everything hits right.

Nut allergy? You’re good.

I have a severe nut allergy and this spot is entirely nut free. Nothing made with peanuts or tree nuts. Everything made in house. That alone makes it a go to for me.

What else?

Service is tight. Staff checked on us multiple times. Asked for feedback. Actually seemed to care. It’s a small place. Maybe 18 seats. So join the waitlist early. Worth it.

TLDR:

Where to eat in Chino? HiroNori.
What to get? Tonkotsu ramen. Pork buns. Karaage chicken. Poke bowl.
Is it worth the drive? Yes.
Allergy safe? One hundred percent.

I recently visited this place and everything was absolutely delicious. I ordered the tonkotsu ramen, karage chicken, and the cucumber mint yuzunade, and I was blown away. The tonkotsu ramen was very good. The broth was rich, creamy, and full of deep flavor. The noodles were perfectly cooked, the pork was tender, and the egg was cooked just right. Every bite was comforting and satisfying. The Karage chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, full of flavor. One of the best I have had. The cucumber mint yuzunade was refreshing and light, with a perfect balance of citrus and mint, which made the whole meal even better. The restaurant was clean and welcoming, and the service was friendly and attentive. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and I will definitely be coming back and recommending HiroNori to everyone.

I was really excited to eat here with my daughter after seeing all the great things on Instagram, but our experience was honestly pretty disappointing. We ordered two shoyu ramens. Mine came out first, and they told us my daughter’s would be right behind it. After about 15 minutes of waiting, I finally tried mine — and the noodles were raw.
Nobody checked on us at all, and my water had been empty for a while. After roughly 30 minutes, a waiter finally brought my daughter’s ramen. I told her that my noodles were raw, and she mentioned they were having issues with the boiler. I also asked for a water refill. They took my bowl back and eventually brought a new one and refilled my drink.
Overall, it just wasn’t a good experience — the food or the service.

Good food, nice restaurant. I dont understand why this place charges their customers a 17.4% service charge. I will never ever come back to this place.

We stumbled on this place when we were headed to another place for dinner, and we decided to dine in after a customer waiting for takeout raved of how good it was, and he was spot on. It was one of the best ramen I’ve had, and the sides were excellent. The crispy rice with spicy tuna was amazing. I’d go back just for that. We also tried the pork Buns and they were yummy. I tried the tonkatsu ramen and it was delicious creamy broth and the pork was perfectly cooked and the egg was perfection. My husband tried the chicken bowl and he loved it too. The place is small but felt cozy and beautifully designed. Highly recommend.
