My all time favorite sushi spot. As a sashimi lover, this is definitely my happy place. Sashimi are always so fresh and I highly recommend get tuna belly and uni. Also recommend their grilled eel over rice, easily the best I had in the Valley. Price is very reasonable compare to other fancy Sushi restaurant and you get a similar quality of food. Just WOW

Alright. I love sushi. Ive eaten it all over the world. This was hands down my new favorite spot in Phoenix for specialty rolls. Fantastic combinations. The freshest fishes. And the kindest of staff have made me an instant customer for life.

Best quality fish I’ve had in a while. Was out in Scottsdale on a golf trip and hit this place up 2x. We had quite a bit of sashimi (Blue Fin tuna was amazing). All of the fish is so fresh – they don’t kill it with mayo and stuff to cover the taste, instead the fish is the highlight of just about every roll. Only problem with this place is that your have to get there early for lunch and dinner (the line begins before it opens) That said, they do a great job of keeping the crowd organized. The place is a gem.

Recently moved to the area, and happy to say I found my new sushi spot. Service and the food was absolutely the best. My wife and I ordered so much food because everything sounds delicious and was fresh! We tried so many things we couldn’t remember everything we ordered lol

Each and every time when we are in Phoenix, we make sure to come here. It was suggested by our friend and we fell in love with this Japanese restaurant ever since. The food is always fresh. The staff are always courteous and helpful. It is one of the most authentic Japanese restaurants we know. This restaurant always has customers waiting outside before they open. Believe me, it’s worth the wait.

Hiro is next to my nail salon, Trish Nails. There is always a crowd waiting for a seat; my nail tech saud tes, ALWAYS. Fellow foodie and I put in a reservation at 5ish for an hour wait. We went to Aho Al’s in the same complex for delicious scratch margaritas, great service and friendly regulars at the bar, then to Hiro for a fabulous sushi feast and cold saki. Seated at the sushi bar, entertaining sushi chefs, great service, and freindly regulars that recommended aye and Tai.

This place has been on our list for a long time and I didn’t believe the hype until we got there. Line out the door for dinner the minute they open. The menu is HUGE and the fresh specials were bountiful. My party ordered some sashimi and thought the fish was exceptionally fresh. I went a different route with some small plates and noodle soup. Portions were very large.

When there’s a line of people waiting for a place is open, you know you’re onto something. It’s great to hear Japanese spoken in a Japanese restaurant. The sushi here was top-notch and despite being very busy the service was excellent. This is a small restaurant, so it is a bit crowded, but the food overall atmosphere is worth it. For the quality of the food the prices are very reasonable. And of course, we very much love sushi so we ate quite a bit of it 🙂

When there is a line out the door there must be a reason. This place has impeccable service and the dish presentations are top notch. Everything we ordered was so fresh and delicious. We tried everything from sashimi, nigiri, and rolls to soup. The restaurant atmosphere is authentic and special. This is our new go to place having tried about six different ones in the Scottsdale area. Highly recommend ordering the fresh wasabi for an extra dollar.

The taste is acceptable, but the dipping is really bad. The service staff is still very good! The price is slightly more expensive, generally in Az, and Japanese food is like this.
