Hiro buffet in aurora, CO offers great food variety and value – Facebook

Lawrence KimTo me it depends on the King Buffet. To me the Colorado Springs one is the best, Aurora second, and the one up North is third.

Strongly recommend coming here, food is very good, clean atmosphere, hard working people.
Sushi is amazing. They are renovating. Seems to be a long time restaurant. Family atmosphere perfect too!

The food was cold and there were flies all over the sushi. I work in food so i can understand a bit of a difference but the chicken was actually cold. Not warm. Cold while it was sitting in the heating table. They dumped all the fresh food on top of the old food so the old food would sit at the bottom. It’s a cute restaurant but I am never coming again and the waitress brought a check while we were eating (again understandable, until you realize I had only been sitting for 20 minutes. ) this is an extremely dangerous place to eat. Regardless of service please do not eat here it is going to make you sick. I ate as I had already paid and didn’t want to be disrespectful but I must let everyone know .
The waitress also circled the word tip everytime it said it on my receipt . As well as arrows pointing to the word “tip”. I love tipping but definitely don’t beg and don’t pressure your customers.
I made a review specifically to tell everyone to stop eating here. Please do not come here unless you want parasites. The fly here was literally laying eggs.
I don’t even care for service. Everyone has there differences but wow. This is not safe or a welcoming environment.

First the outside of the building is dirty. Walking in the restaurant dining area the place doesn’t look clean for a buffet restaurant. The food is okay but not for the price per plate. They have signs on the counter where the food is at and a note that says “limit your self with 4-5 crab legs and oysters” first time I see this in a buffet restaurant. The servers were bad and have an attitude, the old lady that brings out the food will give you a bad stare whenever you go get a plate of crab legs and does not clean the food counter and they have dirty cleaning towel on the food counter. Lastly the restroom is disgusting.

Looked outdated/dirty. Lady upfront was a bit rude and the waitress lady who had our section barely checked on us, did not even ask if anyone wanted refills on water. Food was ok but did not look fresh (looked like they’ve been sitting for a while). I was so excited for the sushi rolls but was a bit disappointed because they were all mostly filled with imitation crab meat. This was our first time here and was hoping to like it but ultimately won’t be recommending or coming back.

Me and my boyfriend wanted to try out this place as him and his family came a few weeks prior and had an OK experience when me and my boyfriend first went I was really shocked by how many options they had and honestly seemed really good so I was very excited the first day I went I thought it was really good until the next day when I got food poisoning now I’ve never had food poisoning before in almost 20 years of my life. And honestly, just kind of blew it off, thinking it might’ve been something else so we ended up going again and not only me, but my boyfriend got food poisoning for the second time in a week from the same place now I work in the food industry and I understand that it’s hard to keep up with everything sometimes but for How much they’re wanting you to spend and then also tip the server and the host when honestly they do absolutely nothing is ridiculous and the service was not very good. There was literally two workers Arguing with each other and gave us a really bad impression. I’ve never in my life wrote in a bad review for anywhere But honestly felt like this was needed because if you’re gonna spend over $100 and get food poisoning twice then other people should know about it.

I love a good Asian buffet! The prices here are standard and worth it. They have a wide range of food items from sides to main dishes. The sushi selection is diverse and every one of them was well made and fresh. Most all dishes were hot and good quality, for a buffet. I loved the soups and the different fried options. They also have a hibachi style section. The sweets were pretty good as well. The only issue I had was the stuff was very distant and did not talk or interact with us unless they asked if we needed more water. Other then that, it was clean and well kept. I recommend this place for some good, unlimited Asian food. I’ll be returning for sure!

It was honestly some of the worst Chinese food I’ve tasted in Denver and Aurora. The meat was definitely old or not meat. The noodles were literally spaghetti noodles. (Check the picture) And so many other things. I did not finish, and the waiter didn’t say a word to us until she asked for a tip. And yes, “you get what you pay for” but this wasn’t worth it.

It is an old Japanese all you can eat buffet restaurant in Autora. This restaurant is conveniently located in a popular marketplace. The property looks old and definitely needs some attention. You have to pay before you are assigned a table. They have wife variety of Japanese and Asian food on buffet. The quality of food definitely should improve and may be can add some more variety like shrimps crabs etc. the services were decent but nothing extraordinary. Their lunch offerings is priced competitively but definitely should improve their quality and taste. They have a live counter too. The Sushi spread was decent. Parking was easy and they have plenty of seating arrangements. I will hesitate to recommend this restaurant.

The first time we came, it was very good- the second time, not so much. It’s very overpriced- 55 dollars for 1 adult & a child buffet, with 2 teas. No one ate 55 worth of food. The bathrooms are very gross!! Like the last bathroom stall has been full of , even after a month, and they still haven’t fixed it. They do have a huge selection of different foods & sushi.

Hiro Japanese Buffet is a pretty descent eatery that serves Asian smorgasbord. The quality of their sushi ingredients and grade, in my opinion, was nothing objectionable or to be credited. However, the sushi making techniques, sushi types, and visual appearance were pretty up to snuff.

I love all the seafood choices, but the oysters tasted a little spawny. All other food choices were a hit and missed on flavor. I just had to select whatever was more appealing to me.

All Asian buffets that I’ve ever been have the same vibe and service. They are not exactly delightful or unpleasant. Like choosing a basic vehicle, it gets one from point A to point B, you come in to Asian buffet really hungry and get out stuffed, period.
