It has been quite a while since last visited Hiro Buffet, but feel it improved quite a lot in terms of its foods and ambience recently. The foods were predictable with many selections. The buffet tables were constantly replenished and the foods were hot and fresh. The raw oysters and crab legs were fresher than many higher end buffet restaurants in my opinion. The price was still $21.99 for dinner from Monday to Thursday. $22.99 for Friday night and weekend, glad they did not mark up their prices for inflation like many other places. Overall, the dining experience was above my expectation.

Hiro Japanese Buffet is a pretty descent eatery that serves Asian smorgasbord. The quality of their sushi ingredients and grade, in my opinion, was nothing objectionable or to be credited. However, the sushi making techniques, sushi types, andvisual appearance were pretty up to snuff.

I love a good Asian buffet! The prices here are standard and worth it. They have a wide range of food items from sides to main dishes. The sushi selection is diverse and every one of them was well made and fresh. Most all dishes were hot and good quality, for a buffet. I loved the soups and the different fried options. They also have a hibachi style section. The sweets were pretty good as well. The only issue I had was the stuff was very distant and did not talk or interact with us unless they asked if we needed more water. Other then that, it was clean and well kept. I recommend this place for some good, unlimited Asian food. I’ll be returning for sure!

Pretty darn clean place. Food also seemed pretty fresh, plentiful, and with lots of variety. Textures and tastes were good. Lots of seafood. Definitely would go again. Couple points knocked-off for signs that make me wonder why an hour and a half loiter rule would have to be established and why in pink marker?

Not a fan of buffets.. but this was really very good. Excellent quality n flavor. The sushi was a little dried out on the surface but don’t let that bother you.. it’s a dry air climate here and it did not affect the flavor. Hiro has talent in the kitchen and you can taste it. I’m only visiting Denver but I will be back.

Cleanest buffet I have ever been to! The food was also very good and tasted high quality. Usually at a buffet I won’t finish my plate because some of the food will be kind of sketchy. This place that was not the case. They were also priced very well. We will be back next time we are in the area. Highly recommend.

Gross, unhygienic practices. The sushi wasn’t on ice, the tuna was black. The “hot food” including fried items were ice cold. The food was bland, the shrimp wasn’t cleaned properly, I’m from Florida. Let me tell you, there was shrimp feces everywhere on their shrimp.

Overall a good buffet, though a little maintenance of the benches might be appreciated. My booth shared a back with another booth and anytime I or the person sitting in the other booth got up there was a bit of shaking. Sushi was decent quality, I went for lunch and I wonder is the super fancy stuff gets pulled out for dinner. All in all I was satisfied.

Overall experience wasn’t the best but wasn’t the worst either. Me and my fiancé went together and our total with only waters to drink was about $50… which is over priced in my opinion…. He had called ahead to ask about crab legs and was looking forward to eating them… however the crab legs were served on ice with no seasoning at all… also the crab legs were barely served. They only put out enough for 1-3 people tops per refill at the buffet. Had to wait a little while before a new tray was served.
