This is a great place to eat. The staff are amazing and knowledgeable. I am recently diagnosed with celiacs and this is one of the safe places to eat. Be sure to communicate with the staff. The drinks are great. I had a cucumber sake martini and it was so amazing. Would pair with anything. They have tvs so you can watch the game too. No sound on so it is still nice to eat and have a special moment.

Service was really good. Wait staff was very attentive and made sure to keep drinks filled the whole time. They did a great job especially for a busy night.
Food was subpar at best. Crab ragoons were really oily and half our sushi rolls were warm when they shouldn’t have been. Rolls were also smaller than other places around town for the same price.

Small plates are my favorite here. The entrées are good (my son loves the peanut butter chicken) and people rave over the sushi (check out the sushi boat), but I choose Hiro 88 for the small plates. This time we chose the aisan short ribs, chicken lettuce wraps, chicken satay, spring rolls, and goyza. Other favorites are the green beans, Brussel sprouts and hot and sour soup. It’s fun to taste all the different items and switch up the sauces. Everything was fresh and flavorful. We loved the short ribs this time- tender beef grilled to perfection. The atmosphere is modern and serene. Menus are by QR code but, the sticker on our table had been cleaned so often my phone couldn’t read it. The server saw our attempts and provided a printed menu.
The service was amazing. She gave us ordering suggestions, accommodated a special drink order, re-filled our drinks, cleared the plates, asked if we liked everything, all without hovering. In my book she did everything I appreciate from a server. It was a fun week night date.

A fantastic experience. The staff was kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. Service was great, food delivery had great timing. The sushi rolls and drinks were so good!

Gave me food poisoning for 3 days. My stomach hurt so bad and I couldn’t eat anything. Even when I tried to eat, it all came back up. Avoid at all costs. They use old fish that smelled off. One of the managers were ungroomed and reeked of body odor. I think I saw someone sneeze on one of the other table’s appetizers before they brought it out. Would not come here again even if they paid me. They’re presentation was nice but the revolting food is what ultimately made me write this review

Of the sushi places in the Omaha metro this is among the best. The other Hiro 88 locations seem a little better, but it’s hard to go wrong with their happy hour. Wide selection of rolls and appetizers to choose from on happy hour.

Ordered “half price reverse happy hour” on their website and they charged me full price! When I picked up the food they absolutely refused to give me the happy hour prices! Completely ridiculous. Will never ever do business with a company that treats customers this way and neither should you!

Excellent service and food with trendy modern asian interior design. The sushi came out very quick and was delicious. Crispy beef was done perfect. I added 3 different vegetables for a couple extra bucks. The hot and sour soup didn’t have much flavor, but the miso was great. Love the carrot ginger salad dressing.
