This is with out a doubt the worst Japanese food I’ve ever had the misfortune of ordering. I ordered teriyaki chicken with fried rice. Where is the teriyaki ? Fried rice looks like white rice. Don’t waste your money or time. Poor at best

The rice and chicken were cooked properly. No Flavor. For 10 dollars and 50 cents worth of rice, I expect a serving size proportionate to what an adult should consume at dinner. I don’t have the appetite of a 5 year old.
Edit: Also while I appreciate the use of clean utensils. I’d rather not taste soap at the bottom of my rice.

Hirano’s is a Savannah tradition that I miss whenever I am away. With two fabulous locations, awesome staff, and food that is out of this world, Hirano’s never disappoints. Hirano’s is of Savannah’s best restaurants consistently, and I can’t recommend it enough!

The fried rice wasn’t too greasy as it can be here in town and I was happy to find some Korean food on the menu (Korean pork is definitely a winner).

My family loves Hiranos. I am thankful to have a nice restaurant with reasonable prices. I usually get the Fish with vegetables, and sushi a lot of time. I normally ask for no onions and they accommodate me. If you want something fast and easy you should give it a try. They also have take out but I prefer to dine in.

I have to defend the “daughter” mentioned in a previous review…I have NEVER been treated badly at this restaurant…by any of the staff. My husband and I go about twice a month and we are always greeted and treated warmly. The food is perfect, the prices are affordable and the staff is wonderful! Don’t let one “bad apple” reviewer (that sounds like he has a personal vendetta towards the “daughter) spoil this perfect little spot to eat. Go enjoy some wonderful food 🙂
