I’ve seen some variable reviews for this place (although mostly for the service) but we had an amazing meal!
The servers were not really talkative but they were still pleasant (and clearly busy)
They were happy to give us tap water, and also a tiny bowl of crisps while we were waiting for our food.
I had the “Steak burger” which was a perfectly cooked medium beef patty which tasted great. With loads of gooey fondue cheese, really good caramelised onions in a really soft fresh black bun. Messy to eat but a perfect burger. Served with a good size portion of really nicely cooked thin fries.
My wife had the “Steak fondue” which was a really nice steak, cooked a bit under the requested medium but the meat quality was really good. With a bowl of fondue cheese to dip the steak in, and a perfectly cooked really soft baked potato with sour cream on top.
Overall we had an impressive meal with great food and good service. Would definitely recommend the food here, and we will be back!

If you want to have a grilled stake specifically a T-bone it is one of the best choices in France. The food is very good and the portions are great. The prices are reasonable comparing to the food prices in France. A pork dish with grilled potatoes was also delicious and starters and desserts are also very tasty

Waited to come in,waited to be served and was denied service by waitress Aline.( told us to wait and served the table next to us despite they came later)
After a period of time,another waiter came to ask us for our order.
We ordered lemonade but was served sprite.( can see in attached pic) asked the waiter and said that there is no error.THAT WAS LEMONADE was the reply!!
The grilled chicken was cooked ok but too much oiled.Fried salmon was too dried and no sauce was provided for us.
Overall,please avoid coming to this restaurant if you are tourists.

If you are a tourist DON’T come to this restaurant, the manager and the waiters are EXTEMELY rude, they ask you to stay outside the restaurant. When we came the restaurant was very empty, we asked for a table for 4, they said NO, that it was IMPOSIBLE. So they preferred to loose clients than to give us a table in an EMPTY place.
We went to the sushi in front and the waiter is the best. So don’t waist your time, neither your time in this restaurant. The owner of this restaurant must know that he lost money in an EMPTY Place as we can see in the pictures I took

The food was very good, the portion a bit small compared to the price. We enjoyed several dishes and the meat was very good, but the service was not good, the lady seemed cranky and impatient. I would try it again, but another branch.

We visited late in the evening and had some dietary restrictions we were working around. The staff were super friendly, highly accommodating and got us seated quickly, even though they were quite busy. Our food arrived quickly and everyone agreed was delicious (my son said it was the best burger he’s ever had)… As we were winding down our regular waiter was gone for the evening but Gloria stepped in and took care of us. She was a complete rockstar! Super friendly, cheerful and a blast to work with! Thank you so much Hippopotamus team!

This is the second time I’ve eaten at this one and both times were perfect. Staff was friendly and the food was served quickly and it was crowded with a line waiting. First time to ever have foi groi at I really liked it. Duck cooked perfectly. I’m pretty picky when it comes to food because I love good food and this place is always on point for me. I’ve tried other locations but this location is far above the others. Thanks to all the staff that worked together for an amazing dinner.
