The food, as always.. it’s amazing, no doubt about that, but today; simply amazing! The meat Jun was absolutely flavorful and cooked to perfection, my all time favorite; plus the side dishes, never lack flavor!
All-together, I would always recommend this place to anyone looking for some hearty Korean food; this place is well worth it. Also, whoever is complaining about prices, get over yourself- it’s 2026, nothing is going down, everything goes up; if anything, this place has gone up, in flavor baby!
Highly recommend, great local spot, worth the wait, worth the drive, worth your dime!
Da food is absolutely on point — fresh meats, great seasoning, and everything comes out hot and flavorful. Da quality really stands out, especially compared to other KBBQ spots around. Da portions are generous, and nothing feels rushed.
Service was friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. The grill setup is clean, the atmosphere is relaxed, and it’s a great spot whether you’re coming with friends or family.
Overall, this place delivers on taste, quality, and experience. Definitely coming back — easily one of my go-to Korean BBQ spots in Vegas.
Aloha!
I’ve been a regular at Hippo Grill for years now, and every single order is a flavor explosion. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and the food travels like a champ – still piping hot and fresh by the time I get home. The staff is always friendly over the phone, and pickup is a breeze. If you’re craving authentic Korean flavors without the sit-down hassle, this is your spot. 5 stars isn’t enough!
I then asked, “Okay, do I just come in to order?” and he said, “Ummmmmm yeah, I mean I guess? Or you can use one of those delivery websites?”
The end of that response got cut off and was choppy, so I asked if he could repeat it, and he loudly said, “ONE OF THOSE DELIVERY WEBSITES? LIKE DOORDASH, POSTMATES?”
Safe to say, this interaction turned me away, and I went to Jin’s Korean BBQ instead, even though it was further out of the way. At least the staff who answered the phone there was kind.
The staff member at Hippo could’ve kindly said something like, “Oh, I’m sorry, we don’t accept phone orders, but you can place a pickup order through one of those delivery websites, like Postmates or DoorDash.”
It’s unfortunate that I never even got to try your food because the customer service was so off-putting. If this wasn’t the owner who answered the phone, your staff is losing you business with their attitude. It costs nothing to be kind, and a little politeness goes a long way—especially for first-time customers.
