I was the one who brought my own container. I hope it didn’t cause any inconvenience. Thank you so much for kindly packing the food in the glass container I brought. The malatang was absolutely delicious. Thanks to the extra spicy sauce you provided separately, I was able to enjoy it even more.
Also, I think adding fen haozi (glass noodles) to the malatang could make it even more popular—many people really enjoy that texture.

I visited them when they first opened and was highly impressed by the dishes they offered. Today, they launched their bento box, and I couldn’t wait to try it. I ordered the braised pork with eggs, roasted ribs, and stir-fried green peppers—every dish was absolutely stunning. If you’re into authentic, homemade Chinese cuisine, Hippo Express is a must-try.
