Came here for lunch with the wife while visiting for the weekend. The side garden salad with homemade honey mustard dressing was excellent – loved the dressing. The Half & Half soup was unique but good – plenty of claw crabmeat. The crabcake platter was very good, however I wished it was broiled a bit more. Chunks of jumbo lump crabmeat. Plenty of fresh cut fries & coleslaw. The fried flounder & jumbo shrimps platter was good, however they were overcooked a bit & the batter came apart. Shrimps were huge & flounder was fresh. Generous portions. Foods were not salty, everything tasted delicious. Our server was great & attentive. 2 thumbs up for H3.

Love this restaurant. Discovered it on recent trip to the beach. The food is great! So far we have gone back twice! I have ordered the shrimp tacos, the Ceasar salad, the chicken pot pie, and the turkey mashed potato bowl. I enjoyed all of them. Julia, our waitress, was pleasant, friendly and efficient!! We plan to go back again visit we leave town!

Went to lunch with a large group of 8 that they accommodated very well. We sat for a long time waiting for service. Seemed funny because it was after the lunch rush. The menu is incredible which makes it very hard to choose. I had the soup flight and salad. The house salad dressing sounded really good a apple vinegarette I think but it really lacked the flavor to accompany arugula. The corn soup is really excellent, I had 2 out of the 3 soups as that, the daily soup sounded good, but ended up being very salty and was not so good. My wife had a fish sandwich that she really liked. My sister got the crab pretzel and we all tasted it and liked it a lot. Lots of stuff left on the menu to try. Nice place.

I wanted to see what the hype was about since they were voted Best at the Beach for several categories. Burger was seasoned well but very small. Other menu choice was very salty with very little onions, cheese and special mayo. Too dry. Server was great but the atmosphere was dreary. Definitely looks like a stripped down TGIFs. Decor needs a facelift.

Recommended by a local guy from the Lee’s Farmers Market when asked where to get the best burger in the area.
Very good Big S’mack burger and an excellent Shrimp Salad wrap.
NO tap beer, so that was very disappointing. Brian the bartender was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Excellent service.
Really diverse menu selections, the Maryland crab – a specialty we were told. Definitely worth another visit to try some of the other menu choices.

Really cute spot with friendly service and a fairly large menu. The surf and turf burger was a combination of two perfectly cooked beef patties with a creamy crab dip, tomato, and smothered in cheddar cheese. It was very simply one of the best burgers I’ve had. Would definitely recommend.

We finally ate here recently for dinner. Our server was attentive, but not as helpful with my wife’s meal selection because she has a dairy allergy.
He steered her to the only vegan item (other than a salad) on the menu. She said the vegggie pot pie was good, but she was hoping for a burger.
I had flounder with fries. Portion size served was enough for me to take some home for lunch the following day. It was good, not great.

We did enjoy our meals. Plus, they have Happy Hour prices all day.

I was fortunate enough to have met the owner of Hippie Hen House at a doctor’s appointment and decided to try it. Even though we had passed by this establishment for years, we had never eaten there. We loved the casual atmosphere and the food was great. We tried the smash burger and crab nachos, and I would recommend both. The hostess and wait staff were friendly, and accommodating and the service overall was great. We would definitely recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a casual setting, excellent service and even better food.

We tried the pretzel. It was ok, slightly salty. He tried the double smashburger and loved it. I tried the blt with the fried green tomatoes. The bread was on the thinner side and overly toasted. It was dry and hard. We also tried the crab cake, and it was good. There are lots of menu items left to try.

This was our first time in. Our waitress Lisa was great she was actually multitasking several areas with enthusiasm. Our order consisted our the Maryland crab cake platter. Let me say all jumbo lump crab best ever. You must try it. Collards cooked to perfection. My husband added the ham & bean soup piping hot along with wedge chicken salad. We will be returning. Our compliments to the chef and our thank you to lisa our waitress/hostess.
