I’ve tried hip-hop chicken only once before and it was delicious. so I recently moved to Baltimore and this one was closest to my house so I tried it and they catfish was so plain. There wasn’t even salt on it. I basically poured the whole container of hot sauce that they give me on it to try to give it some flavor, but there was nothing. The mac & cheese taste like it was from a frozen box. The only thing that taste good was the sweet potatoes and it’s really hard to mess up sweet potatoes. It could just be this location but I don’t think I’ll be back 2/10 for me.

I am the first time customer. My Airbnb bills nearby so I was looking for a place in the neighborhood and I saw hip hop fish and chicken and thought that this was black owned when I went into the restaurant I was completely wrong but other than that the service was just okay there was a large language barrier with the workers in the back. The gizzards that I ordered were kind of hard and rubbery but the catfish nuggets were perfect.

It has been a while since I have been to this franchise. I bought the catfish nuggets and fried chicken wings. The food was good but didn’t like it was seasoning or whatever it is they put on the food after its cooked. The prices were reasonable, and portions were great.

Always delicious, hot and great customer service. They know the regular ones that frequent this establishment. Food is consistently good – got to put the “crack” on it – either chicken, fish, fries. Amazing sweet tea, get the Large. Prices are good as well.

Good use to be good, but out of all days I was hungry today order 5 wings and fries the wings was fried way to hard, the fries was soggy didn’t realize when I got home tried to eat 2 wings felt like I was chewy on timbs then on top of that I took it back they laughed like it was a joke even my mother had to try good pieces to eat around the chicken wing but she said it was even dried out they don’t realize I work way to hard for my money then laugh in my face like it’s a joke disrespect never going back.

I am very skeptical about my food especially in Baltimore (no offense) but the place is clean. The staff is mostly Hispanic and they’re always greeting me with kindness. They batter the heck out of the chicken and it is clean. Additionally, the service is fast. So next time you have second thoughts think about this review you won’t regret it 🙂

Occaision funky Attitudes are a turn off.
Always closing 10-15minutes early. They will hang up on you if you ask for pricing on more then 3 or 4 prices. I stopped patronizing the place for close to a year when the guy hung up on me. recently about 2.5 weeks ago i tried them again service seemed to be cool.
But tonight they closed up shop early after i placed my phone order. Which is annoying because there isn’t much to choose from late night.
Food is great. Service not so much!!
