Came by around dinner time and managed to get a table pretty quickly. We ordered the spicy miso and clam ramen. Both bowls were a great change of palate, especially since we’d been missing Asian food quite a bit.

I’d definitely recommend this spot if you’re looking for an authentic, comforting bowl of ramen

Excellent ramen shop in little Tokyo in downtown LA. Found the place by accident as we were walking by and decided to give it a try. The staff were very welcoming and provided great service. All of the food including the appetizers and the ramens were excellent.

I’ve been coming here for a while and it never disappoints, so I want people to know!
Earlier today, I got my usual Hinodeya House Ramen, and it was delicious!

Service: My server name was Rosi, and she was very friendly! No complaints!

Food: I love the Karage Chicken Appetizer! It so warm and tastes great with the mayo dip!!! My usual House Ramen I get is also the house ramen for a good reason. The egg they put in the ramen is so addicting! Compliments to the cooks who put in the effort to make the food taste so great!

Atmosphere: Very clean place! It always a great when I go eat with friends/family.

This place has limited seating so you may need to wait but it’ll be so worth it. All of their ramens are so solid. From the broth, the toppings, and the chewy noodle, just scrumptious all around! They sure know what they’re doing. If you’re feeling indecisive, they have a combo of donburi & mini ramen. The Yu-Chi-Lin don is a glazed karaage, which was delicious. I really enjoyed the Hinodeya flavored broth. Next time, I’ll definitely going for the tonkotsu ramen. All of the staffs are so friendly that you’ll want to come back! Lastly, do yourself and get the appetizers. All are so good but the brussel sprouts stood out. Well done!

I tried this place for the first time this week. Im not usually a fan of the clear Ramen broth or adding bamboo shoots but this place does it well. I love the origin story printed on the wall and the cleanliness and atmosphere. I usually prefer the creamy broth Ramen spots but I would definitely come back to try the other items on the menu!

Delicious. I don’t love ramen usually and I can be pretty picky about it. The broth was perfection- I chose the yuzu one. Not too salty or thick. I drank the entire thing! I also got the beef don. The rice was a little bit soft for my liking but the sauce was good and the beef was done perfectly as well – not too thick, perfect sauce. Gyoza was also delicious and loved the citrus flavor of the dipping sauce. Will be back very soon.

Edit: went back next day, got the clam dashi. Noodles were still fresh!!! So good. Karagge was also a huge portion.

Wow. I’ve never been to Japan, but this is exactly how I imagine authentic ramen should taste. I didn’t even think a clear-broth ramen could be this good, it completely changed my idea of what ramen can be.

The service is on another level, especially for Los Angeles. Huge thank you to Cathy and the whole team for making the experience perfect. Highly recommend Hinodeya.
