This is some of the best BBQ I have ever had. The Brisket I think is the best I have ever had and the sides are delicious as well. Then they had banana pudding for desert which I don’t really like banana pudding that much and this stuff was delicious. I will stop at this place every time I’m near lyons Kansas. Check the hours before you go.

This place was amazing, we were driving through and have not had much luck with good food. It was such a great experience. The brisket melted in your mouth, turkey was so moist, bbq sauce was delicious and the owners were so kind. This is a must stop and I’d even say worth driving too if a little out of the way.

Everything on the menu is amazing. I wasn’t a big fan of BBQ until I had Hines BBQ! What Hines calls a burger is the best I’ve ever had in any state in my entire life. The Turkey is also one of my family’s favorites. You just got to try everything & I mean EVERYTHING on the menu! You will be surprised & amazed to find such great flavor & quality hidden in this lil town. You can tell everything is made with heart & soul!

I have a major problem with this place… they are heartbreakingly far away from where I live.
Look, I take my BBQ seriously. I’ve toured the heavy hitters in Texas, eating at the specific joints Texas Monthly raves about, and I smoke some fantastic meat myself. So I don’t say this lightly. Nothing prepared me for this. These guys are on a completely different level.
You simply don’t expect to find a world-class joint like this in the middle-of-nowhere Kansas, yet here they are, quietly serving perfection. I truly believe if this spot were in Texas, or even just planted in a bigger city, they wouldn’t just be busy. They’d be nonstop slammed. Packed every day. The kind of place people build road trips around. They deserve that level of recognition.
If you have a chance to stop in, I’m telling you right now, it’s not optional. Go. Eat. Enjoy it. Then tell everyone you know, because places like this deserve to be talked about.

Our family loves the links, turkey and pulled pork. A wonderful aroma as soon as you approach the business. The Hines are a hard working couple that takes pride in their products. Don’t forget to order the creamy potatoes. We had their products for our family Christmas.

I stopped in expecting a solid small-town bite and walked out feeling like I’d just found a hidden gem that has no business being this good. Everything tasted intentional. The kind of food that makes you pause mid-bite because your brain is trying to figure out how it’s that flavorful. The meat was ridiculously tender, the seasoning was dialed in, and every side tasted like it actually mattered, not like it got tossed on the plate as an afterthought.
What blew me away most is the consistency. Every bite felt balanced and clean, like somebody in that kitchen cares a lot about what they’re putting out.
If you’re passing through, put it on your list. It’s the kind of meal that sticks with you, and you’ll be thinking about it long after you’re back on the road.

The absolute best BBQ place in the state at least. If you’re ever going through Lyons, this is a must stop. Can’t go wrong with any menu option. Oh, and the banana pudding is fire .
