Stopped in for lunch and had the Thanksgiving Dinner Sandwich… in March! Pleasantly surprised on how authentic this tasted like leftover Thanksgiving the next day. Made fresh and with a side of gravy. A lot of variety but everything turkey! Saw some homemade pies and dinners but didn’t get a chance to try. I look forward to returning and trying some more. Everyone was pleasant and lunch was cheap!

If you like a home cooked meal at a reasonable price this is the place. Delicious turkey with sides, fresh sandwiches, specials, pies and orders to go. Friendly knowledgeable staff. And a deli section for cold cuts, salads and bread. Very patriotic atmosphere with old World charm. Table seating inside with additional picnic tables outside.

I have been a customer of Hincks for nearly 50 years. Food is always excellent. However, the last time I was in (12/4/2025, the turkey BLT was a major disappointment. I usually stop here at least twice a month and have never been disappointed with the food quality. Staff is NEVER pleasant and treated all customers as if they were an imposition. I would like to leave a photo of the sandwich and how it was wrapped. Horrible.

You don’t want to miss the hot turkey reuben sandwich. Very plentiful and flavorful on fresh rye bread. You need two hands to eat it. The frozen pot pies are a great grab and go item. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Dont forget to pick up some fresh turkey also. Don’t just pass by stop in!

Hey ! the food is great but, I was yelled at when trying to purchase 80$ worth of frozen food, that I should wait in line.
You have three registers, why should I wait behind people ordering prepared foods for 45 minutes if I’m buying frozen food to go.
Three other people in line were grumbling. “That’s just the way it is” is no excuse for stupidity.
If I come back, I ain’t waiting in the sandwich line for 45 minutes. If someone who works there tells me anything about it I’ll cause a scene, and that’ll be the last time.
Get it together. It’s not logical.

This place has that old antique look, however the food is literally just average. Now the customer service, POOR. I’m telling this lady what I want she starts to walk away….. I’m not done telling her my order lol. She then wiggles her way back and finally I complete my first sandwich order… AGAIN she walks away and says “How many?” I reply “1.”…… and off she goes……. 10 mins later she screams for me to come over lol. I look at her and say “Can I place another order?” And she literally screams “I ACKS U!!!” “I ACKS U AND U SAID 1.”….. I’m not going to begin an argument in that store on who is at fault while children are picking out what beverage to drink. … I wish those owners good luck because having a bad apple in your basket WILL spoil the rest. Just saying.
