Went to himiko for the first time ever last night. The atmosphere is the best I’ve experienced in Elko! I eat out a lot and it’s been like no other. The entire staff from kitchen to waiters/waitresses were eager to welcome us in (and sent us off the same way as well) after we sat down, the staff was on top of everything from drinks to meals. So friendly and prompt!

Food is great most of the time. Great sushi. Service is good when talking to anybody, only if you can get a hold of anybody… thats the issue the online ordering sucks, you try to make an online order anytime at least for me around 7:00pm it directs you to getting your food the next day at 11:00am. Why would I want my food tomorrow? And it wont let you change the time to when you would like your food. Then you try to call up the place with the listed phone number on google and 80% of the time the phone never rings like the number is out of this world, or it rings and nobody picks up. And if someone does pickup you always get on a 3minute to 8 minute hold. Terrible service in the sense of trying to order food from this place.

Really enjoyed my meal. The service was a little slow but the food totally made up for it. I ordered the Ramen Bowl with Chicken and it was amazing. The vegetables were fresh, the presentation was on point, and the flavor was outstanding. I also ordered the hand grenades and they were EXCELLENT… HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

We had a great time as we stopped on our way through town with 14 of us. We had a variety of foods that were all very, very good. Awesome Poke, teriyaki items were great, sushi was good, nigiri’s excellent, ribeye steak Awesome and both styles of edemame were delicious. A very good variety of foods to appeal to everyone.

This has been our go-to sushi place for years. However, some of our favorite items have been removed from the ayce menu. They have changed the brand of the “house” sake to one we don’t care for. Also, they seem to be using more rice than they used to use.

I have only been there once. Everything was really good. Staff was very friendly,and the sushi was incredible. If you haven’t tried it, you’re missing out!!

It was good. It was pretty slow when we sat down so we were in and out pretty quickly. The mussels and band grenades were delicious! The rolls are pretty big, and it’s not overpriced.

Used to be the best place in town but has been going down hill. Haven’t had good service or food from them in months. I’ve had hair in my food (which was fixed) and many many wrong orders

Sheldon was our chef when my friend and I stopped by on our road trip — he was super friendly and was a trooper putting up with all of our banter and pent-up energy from being in the car! We had a pretty good meal with fun conversation. Thanks for helping make our road trip special, Sheldon!
