Incredible Flavors & Hospitality – Just needs a bit more cook time!
My husband and I are frequent diners of Indian and Himalayan cuisine, and we really enjoyed the authentic flavors here. The owner and the lady at the cashier were incredibly welcoming and hospitable—you can tell they really care about their guests! The restaurant itself has a great ambiance and smells very clean.
The Highlights:
The Bread: Honestly, the bread is fantastic and might actually be addictive! It was the star of the table.
Lamb Curry: The spices were spot on. The flavor profile is excellent.
Constructive Feedback for Management:
Texture & Cook Time: We noticed a bit of a theme with the textures—the rice in our Biryani and the side rice were both quite undercooked/hard. Additionally, the lentil soup felt like the lentils needed more time on the stove as they were still a bit firm.
Portion Sizes: The portions felt a bit small compared to other Indian/Himalayan spots we’ve visited. We’d love to see slightly more generous servings to match the price point.
Restrooms: While the dining area is spotless, the restroom needs more frequent maintenance to stay consistent with the rest of the beautiful space.
We truly enjoyed the spices and the warm welcome. We’re sharing this because we’d love to see this place thrive—with just a little more attention to the cook times and portions, it would be a 5-star favorite!

Daisy thank you for serving us the most delicious, satisfying, & authentic Indian meals. I had Chicken Tikka Tandoori and my husband has Chicken tikka masala, also for the bonus of lentil soup; wow, my meal was made perfect with a hot cup of chai, amen!

I was really happy with my food. Nice atmosphere, reasonable prices and most important, amazing food. I think these were the biggest, tastiest samosas I have ever had. I had their spiciest chicken tikka masala. Very spicy but without messing with the flavor. Oh and the garlic naan was fantastic too.
I also got a little mango smoothie after my meal and it was amazing. I will definitely got back and you should go check it out.

Love eating here. Our go to is the Lamb Saag. The meat is tender and curry creamy and delicious. The vegetable pakora is crispy and pairs well with the mint chutney and their spicy 911 sauce. All the naan is delicious but we love the garlic cilantro and garlic and herb.

It was my first time at this lovely little restaurant and I will definitely be back soon! Everything we ate was so delicious and flavorful and everyone working there was very kind and attentive. Very cool music and I really loved the little shrine and the art on the walls. The vibe was like a little temple of zen. highly recommended!!

Wide variety of options on the menu. Everything we ordered was fantastic. The cherry naan was a great surprise, almost a dessert. The Tikka Masala was great with both chicken and lamb. The Chicken was quality chunks of white meat and no gristle. Every dish was fresh and tasty. Wish I had taken photos because it was all amazing.

If you have not been here yet, please allow yourself to experience some of the most delicious food to ever grasp your taste buds. The food is so delicious that you will feel you are part of the owner’s family. Its a only a couple of years since their opening but I know its already one of the best restaurants in Chula Vista. (Chicken Korma spicy level 4/10 is to die for!)
