Welcome to Himalayan Dumplings by Kyikyi, a scratch-made local favorite in Beaverton for hearty, family-friendly meals that can be enjoyed by all. We are Oregon’s only woman-owned Tibetan eatery offering halal-friendly meat options, vegan-friendly dishes, and an allergen-friendly menu with no nuts, eggs, dairy, shellfish, or sesame. Our menu includes Tibetan dumplings (momo, also known as Himalayan dumplings), savory Tibetan handpies, and Himalayan chow mein. Stock your freezer with our frozen dumpling bags at local farmers markets, or join us for cozy dine-in or takeout dinners every Thursday and Friday. I love this place LOVE LOVE the dumplings and with halal options? What???? I always get amazing food, amazing service, and there is such a beautiful energy and vibe in this place. The veggie momo are perfect but my kids like the chicken ones, too. We ate in and bought a few packs for home!

INCREDIBLE dumplings and handpies!! The chow mein was very flavorful and noodles were cooked perfectly. The potato curry handpies were so good I bought a whole frozen bag to go. Can’t wait to come back and get some more.

Kyikyi is approachable and very responsive! I messaged her to place a catering order and it was taken care of with no hassles. The food was even provided in a warmer! We ordered the chow mein with chicken and it tasted amazing. My guests enjoyed it and took extra home! We really appreciate that they are offering halal friendly options so that we can enjoy a taste of Tibet as well.

Tried the Halal Chicken Momos and Chowmein—both were delicious! The red sauce is absolutely fire . Most of the menu items are now Halal, and Kyikyi is well aware of Halal requirements, also confirmed there’s no cross-contamination. Highly recommended spot for Halal food!

A fantastic spot for fans of Momos—authentic flavors that closely match what you’d find in India. One standout feature is their thoughtful separation of vegan and non-veg cooking, which is rare in the U.S. but very important for pure vegetarians. The place is vibrant, spotless, and has a welcoming vibe.
Currently, they’re open only on Thursdays and Fridays after 4 PM, though I hope they expand their hours soon. When they’re not open at the main location, you can often find them at various farmers markets.

Absolutely incredible food! The flavors are so pure and vibrant, the texture substantial but not too thick. I scheduled a pickup several days in advance and the food was ready right on time. I’m also very impressed with their community involvement and dedication to inclusivity. Will definitely be ordering regularly!

The food was okay. I would go here again for a quick lunch break. They have a menu with dumplings, hand pies, and noodles. It’s small. They had a vegan option for all 3 categories.
The noodles were okay. I was not a fan of the amount of flavor they had. The partner joining me loved them. So mixed reviews. The Himalayan chili oil was the best I have had. It helped give the noodle’s flavor. The dumplings tasted great. But, I did not like how mushy the wrapping was. They sell bags of the dumplings frozen. I have a feeling they were frozen and not fresh. That would explain the mushy texture in the dumpling dough. The serving size was small on the dumplings with only 6. But they were very affordable in price.
It’s small with a small amount of personality in the atmosphere. But it’s bland.

The food is so amazing!!! I we had steamed and fried chicken and cilantro momos, chicken chow mein and mango lassi! All fresh ingredients. No preservatives and some vegan friendly options! 10/10 you can also find the dumplings frozen for sale at the Tigard, Beaverton, Hillsboro, Lake Oswego and happy valley farmers market! You need to try it!! The owner is also an absolute sweetheart!
