Stopped in for a late breakfast. The wife had chicken and biscuits and I had biscuits and gravy. Both dishes were very good, could’ve had a little more gravy over the biscuits but not a big deal. They were very good.

Stopped in for a quick bite and was pleasantly surprised! The chicken pakoda was flavorful and cooked just right — crispy on the outside and tender inside. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making the short visit feel even better. Plus, the location is great, convenient and easy to find. Would definitely come back to try more from the menu!

I stopped at Himalayan Cuisine in Glenwood Springs while traveling across the country from California. I was in the mood for breakfast and got genuinely excited when I saw signs for a Nepali festival. Anyone who knows me knows I love Nepalese culture, so I was looking forward to speaking Nepali and experiencing that atmosphere.

Unfortunately, when I arrived there were no Nepali people present, which was disappointing. I was really hoping for that cultural connection. As for the breakfast, it was honestly somewhat of a joke and not something I would come back for.

That said, the customer service was good here, and I do give them credit for that. Because of that, I might come back in the afternoon or evening to try the actual Nepali food. Sadly, though, the breakfast alone is not a reason for me to return.

Enjoy a nourishing meal at Himalayan Cuisine. It’s good for the soul! I was blown away by the flavor combination of the Vegetable Pakoda. It was unlike anything I’ve eaten. I came back for it two days later! The vegetable curry was a divine, steamy, homey bowl. The salad was crisp and fresh.

Devika and her staff are kind, welcoming, and happy. The music is soft and calming, making it easy to chat freely, undistracted. The chef came out personally to understand my allergies. You can tell every dish is an act of love, and served with Nepali pride and hospitality.

Himalayan Cuisine consistently reaches my top dining experience in Glenwood Springs. Great for families, date nights, and groups. There’s a well stocked bar to enjoy some spirits.

Food was so amazingly delicious. Chicken pokada and chicken tikka masala. Garlic butter naan. We have a nepal restaurant at home which is so good and this place knocks it out of the park which is saying a lot!

I don’t usually leave reviews BUT I am highly impressed with the food, service, and atmosphere at this restaurant! This is undoubtedly the most authentic Nepalese flavor I’ve come across so far in the States(and this is coming from a Nepali myself so trust me!) I tried the Chicken Chilli and Kothey Momo last night, and I still can’t stop thinking about them. I also saw other people’s orders, and everything looked amazing! I visited this place while traveling to Aspen, and I would gladly travel all the way to Glenwood just for this restaurant. Can’t wait to try more dishes here!

This is such a sweet, welcoming spot—it seems family-owned. The service is warm and friendly, and you can tell they genuinely care about their guests. We stopped in on a snowy day and ended up chatting with the bartender for a while, which made the experience even more memorable. Definitely worth a stop if you’re looking for a cozy place with great hospitality.

The service was extremely poor. The waitress began by complaining about some Indian customers who had visited earlier and didn’t order much food, which was uncomfortable and unprofessional. We were made to wait about 10 minutes before getting a table. After being seated, it took another 20 minutes for someone to take our order, and nearly an hour for the food to arrive. Instead of serving the appetizers first, everything was brought out together, and the appetizers were already cold, making it feel like there was no urgency or care.
The food quality was also disappointing. The dishes were very bland. We ordered Saag Paneer, and the waitress mentioned it was the last serving available. Unfortunately, it tasted spoiled, so we had to return it. She did not seem pleased about this. I can’t say for certain, but it appeared that the returned dish may have been served to another table nearby, which was very concerning.
Overall, the rest of the food was mediocre at best. The fries were the only decent item, but even those were served cold.
Overall, a very poor dining experience.

Service was extremely slow with benefit of the doubt given when they said they were short staffed. But it was really slow. Drinks took about twenty minutes. The thing that really bothered me was we ordered a plate with multiple items including naan. We had to ask for the salad that was supposed to be served with it. And (no joke, look at the images) instead of giving us Naan, they gave us tortillas! When we asked what that was about, he said they were out of Naan. I would much rather be told they don’t have any than this. Also, instead if AC, they had fans sitting by our table. Overall, I would not recommend this place.
