Really enjoy this place. Been going for years. Really recommend going at dinner time, I like it better than the buffet. They have amazing dumplings, butter chicken, garlic naan, and honestly everything I have had has been a 10/10. I do wish they used boneless chicken thighs for the butter chicken, etc because I get a good bit of bones in mine everytime. Shout out to Indal- he is the best!

This was a pleasant surprise! We were looking for Ramen and saw Himalayan Cafe when we parked, so we decided to eat here instead! SOOOO good! So many options on the buffet and ALL so good! Definitely recommend! We live in Ruston but will definitely be making the drive to eat here regularly!

Himalayan Cafe has become the go-to place for delicious Indian food in Monroe Louisiana. All you can eat buffet at lunch is incredibly popular with locals and travelers driving through Monroe. There is an equal balance between vegetarian and meat dishes. It was particularly crowded the last time My brother and I went so it took a little extra time to be seated and for drink refills. But considering how delicious and abundant the food was that’s to be expected. I absolutely love all of the Indian desserts they serve!
Overall a terrific value and I always look forward to my next visit. Give this place a try!

We dropped by this place around 9 PM last night and had a really good time. We got three dosas and a chicken biryani — the food was tasty and hit the spot.
What really stood out, though, was the service. The lady in the black outfit was super nice, gentle, and humble. We asked for napkins, and she brought them over right away with a smile — no attitude, just good vibes. I tipped her a great deal — she totally deserved it.
Food was solid, but the great service made it even better. Would definitely come back!

Had a lunch date with some friends and was looking forward to eating some delicious Indian/ Nepalese food.
We were warmly welcomed and seated by super friendly hostess, Shreya. The food options were explained to us. We decided to go for the buffet that had a variety of options to select from.
The chicken Vindaloo and butter chicken was absolutely delicious.
The vegetable dishes were tasty and the spice level was perfect.
Chai tea was also available which I didn’t have.
I was also super excited to find fresh vegetables and groceries for purchase.
Owner made a point to visit us which was really nice.
Please stop by if you are in town and I promise that you won’t be disappointed.

Staff: 4/5 They we’re nice, they explain what’s in their menu, the only thing that made it 4 is that they don’t check you often and ask what you need.
Food: 5/5 We had C Momo and Chili chicken for appetizer and it was spectacular! Those who likes spicy food would love this. Its not hot, it’s just fine.
