Reviews
The service was really good. One of the very few restaurants where chef comes and talks to you about the food and Tax reviews right away if you liked it or not.
Mr. Sahani was really good, help us choose the food.
We tried veg chilli momos, veg Hakka noodles, chicken chili
The food was really good. Good amount of seating space.
Definitely recommend
The tandoori chicken was smoky and juicy, and the momos were some of the best I’ve had in the Bay Area! The restaurant has a cozy vibe, great service, and generous portions. Perfect spot for family dinners or catching up with friends.
Highly recommend if you’re craving authentic Indo-Chinese or chaat in Fremont!
We decided to take the owner’s recommendation, and what a decision that turned out to be. He started us off with Veg Manchurian that was perfectly crispy – you could literally smell the freshness before even taking the first bite. Paired it with Veg Noodles where the veggies had this amazing crunch while being perfectly cooked, and we were off to a great start.
But the real showstopper was the Veg Chilli Momos. Stir-fried and then sautéed Chinese-style with bell peppers and onions, these were seriously delicious and something refreshingly different from your usual steamed momos. This alone is worth the visit, me thinks! We also tried the Malai Momos which came with a cream topping, but personally, I didn’t find it as appealing. The regular steamed momos were good too, but once you’ve had the Chilli version, everything else takes a backseat.
Moving ahead, we ordered the Paneer Tikka Kabob which arrived on a sizzling plate with six huge, beautifully charred chunks of paneer. Fair warning though – it’s quite heavy! We also got their Garlic Naan fresh from the tandoor, absolutely loaded with minced garlic, but by this point we were so stuffed we couldn’t do it justice. Mental note for next time – just naan and curries would make for a perfect meal!
The interior is vibrant and quirky with colorful tones that immediately lift your mood. What really caught my attention was their innovative live pani puri station and a charming chai corner with traditional kulhads that doubles as the reception area. It’s these thoughtful touches that make the experience memorable.
Update: tried the chaats, paneer tikka and soya chaap, all very good. The kathi rolls were okay okay.
We ordered:
– steamed chicken momo
– veggie chili momo (medium spice)
– butter chicken
– garlic rice
– samosas
Everything was delicious and fresh, we really appreciated how clean and neat the restaurant was and the staff was incredibly friendly. We can’t wait to come back to try the rest of the menu items!
