I’ve visited Himalaya Restaurant Granville a few months back. The restaurant atmosphere was calm and pleasant ambiance. Staff service was good.
The food was good. I’ve tried goat curry, tawa prawns, lamb biriyani. The taste was good and no complaints except biriyani. It’s Pakistani Style biriyani and if you’re a fan of it you should go for it.
No dedicated parking and it was difficult to find the street parking during peak hours. Bus and train stations are nearby and walkable.

Amazing Beef Vindaloo!
The beef vindaloo was absolutely delicious — tender, flavorful, and perfectly spiced! The balance of heat and tanginess was just right, and you could really taste the freshness of the ingredients. The naan bread complemented it beautifully, and the portion size was generous too.
The service was quick and friendly, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Definitely one of the best Pakistani dishes I’ve had in Sydney — highly recommend Pakistani Restaurant ,if you love authentic, flavorful curry!

Good food, need to get your choice right. We got the starter platter, followed by Kashmiri Goat (was recommended,but was a bit disappointing) and Lahori Chicken. Had a bit of Rotis and mocktails

The food is very good!! I’m regular customer in this restaurant and I always order lime soda and chilli paneer!! And every time I like these both items. Atmosphere is very good and staff are very kind!! This is my favourite restaurant in sydney! I usually come from blacktown for just these two items

Hamaliya Granville food and services are normal standard. I am going there since it opened but due to their poor customer services I dont go there often. Their approach is very casual with dinning and atmosphere.
Sometime food is good and sometime it is just OK.
Staff is not very professional and not trained in customer services as most are student or moved up from student. Owners have no information about providing good customer services.
They can improve if they wish or will but need to think out of the box and need some educated management in hospitality industry.

I have eaten here pre covid. They had a buffet then and it was an amazing spread. Today, lamb brains marsala, kishmiri goat, butter chook and saag was in order.
Very tasty, excellent brain marsala.
Ras malai was good too. Creamy, and lightly sweetened.
There was an odour of stale residue from using a towel in bad need of rinsing to wipe the table. I shan’t say much about the house music except it must cater to a very niche market.
I will be back for the food.

I recently visited the Restaurant and had an amazing experience. The food was full of flavour, freshly prepared, and served in generous portions. Every dish tasted authentic and well-balanced, especially the curries. The naan was soft and perfectly cooked, and the halwa had an excellent aroma.
The staff were friendly, polite, and very attentive. Service was quick even during busy hours, and the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. The restaurant is clean, comfortable, and great for both dine-in and takeaway.

I recently visited a Himalaya restaurant with my friends and we order salted lassi with food and we found huge piece of plastic in it when we informed about one of their worker he just said I changed with another one apology nothing later on we found plastic in food as well. Instead of that we order butter rotti but they gave us naan so we wait again and changed them to butter rotti we almost finished our food and they bring Salad almost at end we were full at this point . We felt very bad experiences service is not good at all the girl who serve us plate she didn’t even great us and it’s seem like she work force fully .

Extremely disappointing experience. The food quality was very poor and did not taste fresh at all. The dishes were bland, poorly prepared, and not worth the price we paid. On top of that, the service was slow and staff didn’t seem to care about customer satisfaction.
Definitely not coming back and would not recommend this place to anyone.
