Our waiter D was very courteous and patient with us. He was professional as well. I had a mix drink and the turkey Deli sandwich with fries. Very delicious. My husband had a burger and taters. That was delicious as well. We had no room for dessert. This was our first time at The Hilton Head Tavern. Merry Christmas

The goods: Our waitress was on top of things and very quick and accommodating. It’s a fun family friendly atmosphere. Drink prices are very reasonable. Lots of TVs everywhere to watch the games.
The bads: the food was overly salty and I even like salt. I couldn’t eat my fries as there was way too much salty seasoning on it. Simply inedible. Even my smothered chicken was too salty but was edible.
The ladies bathroom was very dirty. There was a serious layer of dust on the light fixtures that was cringeworthy and several lights bulbs burnt out. Paper towel dispensers not working. And no TP in my stall. I was here in the off season so I’m not sure why things like this go unnoticed and unattended to.

Adam was absolutely fantastic. He has such a great personality and immediately made us feel welcome. His professionalism, attention, and positive energy truly stood out and made the entire experience even better.
You can tell he genuinely cares about what he does and about the people he’s serving. Everything was handled smoothly and with a great attitude, which made our time there really enjoyable. We will definitely be coming back and hope to see Addam again.

Great tavern. High and low tables plus bar seats. Happy Hour drinks every day. Decent drink prices for a tourist area any way. Fish and chips was a better deal than fish sandwich but both were grouper. Tasted great and large portions. We will come back when in the area. The Old Fashion’s were great. I tried the house and the iced coffee old fashioned. Excellent.

Stopped into Hilton Head Tavern for the IU/Miami championship game and had a fantastic time. Adam was an excellent server- attentive, friendly, and truly made the experience. Great food, great drinks, and an excellent setup for watching sports- not a bad seat in the house! Highly recommend!
