Went here for trivia which was super fun! They had a great drink menu and a good selection of beers on tap. The service was great and very quick. The food left a bit to be desired tho. The pizza was a bit soggy and floppy, a bit underbaked. The fries and tots were also undercooked, and were pretty soggy. The onion rings were crispy however

Every time I’ve been to Hilltown their staff are super friendly, their drink selection is great, and their food hits the spot and comes out quick. Highly recommend whether coming in with a group, ordering a bunch of food, or just grabbing a quick pint.
The kind of place where you feel welcome like a regular and if it’s your first time. I highly recommend them and look forward to coming back again soon.

Very good food. Tons of apps and small plates we wanted to try. We settled on Hilltown crab fries and soft pretzel log cheese steaks. Both were spectacular.. 3 of us got 3 different variations of chicken sandwich….very tasty and cooked to a juicy yumminess. I had the French dip. Very tasty, but the I got the impression the meat was sliced deli roast beef. Fries and onion rings were above average.

The onion rings are good. Loved the Shepherds pie – the shredded short ribs give it their unique touch.
Don’t come here to drink wine. It’s definitely a beer & alcohol place…and that’s perfectly fine.

Perfect local fun place for drinks and watching the game. The food is not wonderful, but that’s not why you go here. The cesar salad is very good. I did not like the buffalo wings. The pretzel was a little too saturated in butter. But so much fun watching the Eagles game.

Visited Hilltown Tavern on a Thursday evening to participate in Quizzo. We arrived a bit early to ensure we got a good seat. This turned out to be a good decision. The final trivia of the year was focused on music from 2022. The host had a lot of energy and kept things engaging.
The servers were friendly as well. We ordered the buffalo wings and a Hilltown Burger. The burger was massive and juicy. The fries to go with it were seasoned well. My order of wings originally was forgotten about but when it came out they tasted pretty good. For drinks, we had Downeast cider and I tried the Aetherium White Ale which was $5 during the Quizzo event. One thing to note, they do charge extra for sauces without informing you. Overall it was a fun night of trivia though. Will be back.

Big shout out to our bartender Jesse for excellent service! He greeted us very quickly despite having a full bar and made sure to check in with us multiple times throughout the duration of our visit. He did a great job in servicing the entire restaurant their drinks while also serving the entire bar for drinks and food. I tried the mozzarella sticks & they did not disappoint, especially the marinara sauce. I definitely will be coming back to try more of the food menu for sure!
