Reviews
Happy hour deals are great as well.
This review has nothing to do with the wait staff!
However the older “manager” believes its appropriate to yell at staff and customers, due to HIM being ready to leave!
And I quote! “Who doesn’t realize that when lights are on, and I’m putting on my jacket! You should all be gone”.
It’s not the first time I’ve experienced this from said “manager” never met someone that didn’t want paying customers! Let alone the business/ employees to make money!
Unfortunately he is the reason most people like myself don’t frequent this establishment! Not my opinion I’ve asked around! Which is unfortunate because 3/4 of the people trying to be there are food and beverage industry! Hopefully this is brought to higher up attention!
Their food was pretty good and the wings were definitely a good choice!
Waitresses are nice, but the manager is NASTY!!!!
He was completely confrontational and yelling at our table.
He charged $50 extra for drinks to money gauge us.
Quite a bummer…
which the waiter said was fine. I changed tables because I
couldn’t see the games I was watching. Also hassled that I bought lunch and a diet coke and the criticism was like that wasn’t enough to purchase, how rude. I won’t go back, the customer is always wrong was my impression of this establishment. This was my first and last visit, I was made to feel unwelcome which is last thing you want to do obviously.
I happen to be a Human Relations major. My professors
never said make the customer feel unwanted. Sadly many
managers understand nothing about customers and business.
Hilltop was packed this afternoon when we got there. There were 2 servers on the floor struggling to keep up. Admittedly, service lacked because they were short staffed. Meanwhile, I watched the “manager”, Matt, stand behind the bar with his arms crossed over his chest, watching the numerous televisions above. Not ONE.SINGLE.TIME did he lift a finger to help his servers. So disrespectful. Certainly not management material.
