Came here while visiting Dawson for the weekend. The waitress was so amazing. Supeeeer helpful and very attentive. Throughout the entire time she consistently checked on us to ensure we were good. Definitely surpassed all expectations. The food is also relatively good. I ordered the baked potatoes soup which was absolutely amazing as well as the grill cheese. Everything came out extremely hot and was delicious. I would absolutely recommend this place. They also have an event center attached and virtual golf.

The food there was good. I had the grilled honey mustard chicken wrap with fries and only complaint was they left the onions and tomatoes in after requesting not to have them. I just picked them out and didn’t ask for a new wrap. We also had the mushroom and swiss burger with onion rings and shrimp basket, which was good as well. A few things we didn’t like was the Busch on tap was not good, but they did get us one in a bottle and didn’t charge for the tap. Also, we waited a while to order and they seemed staffed fine with not many people at the time we walked in. It picked up by the time we finished though. I am not from the area, but in laws are from there and they go here a few times and have enjoyed it. They have a lot of TVs for games to watch and also pull tabs behind the bar.

Was parked down the road in my rig and out of hours, called the bar and asked if they could deliver food and he said he could make it happen. Ended up ordering the cheesecurd bacon cheese burger
And I tell ya that was one of the best bar burgers that I have had in a long time and the people were absolutely amazing. They went above and beyond to feed this trucker. Will definitely come back again.

The food was delicious and our server Jody (Jodi?) was great! Table of 6, we ordered multiple apps, meals, and drinks, all were delivered pretty quickly. The pickle chips were so good we ordered 2 more orders! My son said cheese curds were one of the best he’s had, my daughter said the Korean BBQ wings were the best she’s had, and the pizza was loaded with melty cheese. I definitely recommend eating here!

Wait staff was friendly. We ordered the prime rib which was cooked to order with baked potato, salad, garlic toast. Was delicious. Decor isn’t much but food was good and hot. Will have to go back to try their wings!

Our first trip to Hilltop. We waited 45 minutes for our steaks. When we got them, they were burned to a crisp. Loud party in adjoining room with a lot of cursing. Only bright spot in our evening was our waitress, Jen who apologized repeatedly for the delays and poor food quality. She insisted we take 2 new steaks to go. 1 of the cooks didn’t make it to work however, we were the only ones waiting for food so not sure if he just didn’t know how to prepare steaks or what. In any event, based on this experience we will not be back.
Based on other reviews maybe it really was just an off night. Hope so.

Usually have an excellent experience here. Not this week. Took 35min to get my appetizer. Never once did wait staff check to see how we were doing. Had to go to the bar to get our refills of pop. Also had to go to the bar to get our bill.
