Yummy!! We had the salmon and garlic mashed potatoes. It was delicious. Our server, Paige, was super friendly and served us very quickly. I loved the garlic bread and bread and butter pickles that we received after being seated. We will definitely be back!

Looking for a fish fry on my last Friday of filming in Wisconsin near where I would be camping & I found this little gem. The wait staff kindly seated me @ the bar while they prepped the tables for the evening. I went straight for the cod & shrimp special (I chose pan-fried cod & beer batter shrimp) with garlic mashed potatoes & the New England clam chowder for my soup. The toasted bread that they brought as they seated me was a nice dense bread for the butter & complemented the meal nicely. It was a delicious and very filling meal and made my OMAD (One Meal A Day) worth it. Had a few mashed potatoes and a little bread left over for tomorrow.

I had perfect scallops, Donna loved her shrimp. My hot bacon salad originally came with ice cold dressing which they corrected. My parsley potatoes were slightly overcooked. But a great dinner. Drinks were outstanding.

First time here at this establishment tonight.
Very interesting history to this establishment and the building of the establishment itself. Enjoyed the decor and the atmosphere. Bar service was very slow considering 2 staff behind the bar. Table service was also a bit slow despite most people already done with thier meals.. Fresh bread and pickles were great. Catfish appetizer was delicious. My steak was amazing. So very tender. Great flavor and cooked to perfection. Would consider visiting again.

Arrived early on a Tuesday night, with reservations. Waited in a crowded foyer at hostess stand for a while. Upon seating, waited 20 minutes for a server to arrive. 20 more minutes waiting for 2 bottled beers. Water then arrived. Food came 1 hour 20 minutes after being seated. Food was fine, restaurant was very loud. Problem was all on management – 2 servers were all they had and they worked their butts off. They also had to bus tables. Management: hire more staff.

I try not to write reviews on places that I’ve been to only once so I’ve given this place a few attempts to try and impress me and I can tell you I was not impressed. Although the food was definitely above average and tasted good, the service and owner of the bar is what’s going to be the reason why I never come back. For starters, the last time I was at the restaurant I was sitting at the bar and I overheard one of the waitresses in the back talking about some girl who had recently posted a video of her Crying in a car before taking her life. She was a mother of three and fairly young if I remember correctly. She was in the back talking to I’m guessing the kitchen staff or maybe there is a break room back there but I could overhear her talking about how she used to be pretty when she was younger, but In the video she looked fat and ugly and that’s probably why she killed herself. This statement made me absolute sick to my stomach and I left immediately. I don’t have to go into detail about how absolutely horrible of a statement that waitress made. The time before that I came in and some older guy wearing flip-flops was behind the bar. First of all that’s absolutely disgusting to have open feet like that in a bar and a restaurant but I believe this guy is the owner and is named Tony. He was obviously drunk as he was stumbling as he was reaching for bottles behind the bar pouring himself a drink. Not only that, but he was very rude and passive aggressive to the male bartender who was there at the time. He even made a statement to him saying that women don’t belong behind the bar and that they are only good for serving food. What a sexist statement to make! I can honestly say that I will not be attending a third time if this is how the owner and the staff conduct themselves when they think nobody is watching.

Not disappointed, even when I saw the bill! The catfish strip appetizer reminded me of eating catfish caught and fried out of Kentucky Lake; clam chowder could have been hotter and have more clam, but the lemon-pepper pan seared walleye was the best I’ve ever had. Will be back soon for surf and turf and the ice cream cup!
