If you’re not looking, you can definitely miss this amazing place. Once you find this place you’ll discover an unpretentious down home country diner. When you enter you’re greeted by a very friendly woman. The food here is mostly American Comfort food with some house specialties.
I ordered a Patty Melt, my Aunt and Mom ordered a Vegetable Omelette and Sausage Patties. The Sausage Patties were nicely browned, juicy and delicious. The Vegetable Omelette was perfectly executed with fresh ingredients, and the Hash Browns were browned up crisp. The Patty Melt rye bread was expertly grilled as were the onions. The cheese was melty, and the burger patty was meaty. This was one of the best Patty Melts that I’ve ever had. Plus, the shoestring fries were wonderfully crispy bites of potato.
Hills Country Kitchen is a Country Diner serving real honest to goodness Comfort Food, run by a charming woman. Everyone that EATS should drop in at least once. Then you’ll be back again.

Loved my burger. I got the open faced chili size no cheese no onion, with French fries I liked they weren’t all greasy and gross. The lady that greeted us was nice. We sat ourselves. The server lady was also very nice to us. It was pretty bright inside with breakfast, lunch, and dinner on the menu. It’s a nice family sit down place.

This is a nice little place. I ordered the country fried steak with home fries and it was good. The potatoes with peppers and onions were fresh. I had the biscuits and gravy also and it was enjoyable. The service was great and attentive. Their menu includes breakfast, sandwiches and burgers. There’s also an early dinner menu. I’ll definitely be back.
