They always have delicious pastries, and enough variety so everyone finds something they like. Staff is always friendly and efficient. My only problem is I want to eat everything! High recommended to anyone that wants a sweet treat, they are well worth it.

Anyone that knows me knows I am a HUGE Hillman’s fan, have been for years! However the last time I was there I purchased $48 worth of donuts and pastries for our volunteer fire department and 75% of them were horrible. I called several times before getting someone on the phone, she advised me to email them with the photos I took. I emailed them a week ago and I’ve heard NOTHING which is so disappointing!! Old donuts and pastries sold as fresh

We’ve been going to Hillman’s for years and it’s still one of our favorite spots! It’s a great place to stop in and grab a quick treat. Service is always awesome! We love stopping in and saying hi to our friends at Hillman’s 🙂

HONEST REVIEW: Hillman’s is a family owned bakery and local favorite for many. Walking in, you will be presented with lots to see – “like a kid in a candy store”. It’s hard to restrain yourself from getting too much 🙂 But ultimately what counts most is the moment you take your first bite. After a few tries over the past 5 years, I’ve found that their dessert pies, donuts and pastries are very bland / seriously lack flavor! When eating a great pastry, you should know immediately after your first bite what flavor it is and be “wow’d” and anxious for another bite − but I don’t get this at all with Hillman’s. I agree that Hillman’s is probably the best family owned local bakery in the area but it’s also the only one of its kind within 10 miles so there’s no real competition. Hillman’s is worth a try and their foods aren’t bad, but I often find better tasting pastries and donuts at Dunkin’s or the bakery section of local grocery store chains.

Family owned, been going here sense I was very little. I stop and grab fresh made treats and bring them to the crew, they have a new found love for Maines fresh bakeries. They are from NY. The Service is absolutely amazing. The lady who goes in super early every day serves you even before 6am

Stopped by the bakery yesterday and picked up a couple cream horns, almond breakfast rolls and a raspberry cheese cake. Absolutely delicious and the prices are fair and affordable. The cream horns did not last for me to take a picture but I highly recommend 🙂

I can not say enough about how wonderful this bakery is. This is a hometown feel kind of bakery. You know, the kind where you feel like family when you walk through the door. The baked goods are incredible and taste like they came out of a kitchen oven, not a factory. The staff takes pride in their work and it shows. If you haven’t been here, you NEED to try it. Just leave my apple Bismarcks alone… those are all mine .

Use to be good, past year or so their deserts and pastry’s no longer have any flavor. Empty calories at this point. Only thing that’s still good is Bismarcks, and that’s when they actually fill them and don’t go skimpy on the fruit filling. Cakes have always been dry. Anything “chocolate” doesn’t have much go a chocolate taste at all, skimpy on the cocoa. Overall if they go back to how they were a few years ago I’ll change my review. Until then I will not stop here again.
