These folks are the best!!!
We came in late and weary from a fun vacation on the trails and on our way home.
The BBQ was excellent!
Two of us had half rack of ribs.
One had turkey. One had brisket.
The sides were great!
We had BBQ cole slaw, potato salad, and hillbilly baked beans.
The dessert was awesome too!
Wonderful homemade banana pudding and incredible cheesecake!!
The graham crust on the cheesecake was outstanding!
They played great classic blues.
The place was clean and inviting.
The best part were the kind people!!!

I came from across the country (CA) to visit family in Logan, WV and tried Hillbilly BBQ. It didn’t disappoint. It just opened and I heard it was a quality that was unmatched by anything else locally. I just went today and got several things so I could eat other things for dinner. I nearly ate everything for lunch because it was so good. The ribs were honestly a 10/10! Very little fat and tons of good meat cooked perfectly. I could eat two racks at once they were so good. My homie CrackleFish got the pulled pork fries and claims the jalapeños are the best he’s ever had. He says “eat them there jalapeños and you’ll be able to run any ghost out of the pasture?!” I said “why’d you ask me that instead of just telling me that?” Ole CrackleFish be wildin’.
My mom had the turkey sandwich and said it was so good she would backslide to eat another one. It was a thicker meat than traditional turkey.
One of the only things that let me down was that the FBZS (Fear-Based Zebra Steaks) was only a fictitious rumor. I heard there was a speak-easy underneath the building for the local elites where lavish drinks are drank from sawed elephant tusks and imported Giraffe burgers and Zebra steaks highlight the ambience. Turns out this place is what it claims to be after all.
For reals tho, it was so good and the best food I’ve had in a really long time. I highly recommend it to anyone.

The brisket has got to be the best I have tried. The smoked Turkey is also really good!!! If you haven’t tried their food yet, you are missing out!!
