UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT!
The mean old lady is gone. New owners are fixing the place up. It is no longer the run-down dive it used to be. The inside is clean and well lit. The old countertops are being replaced, and the glass block windows will also go. They are also adding an outside seating area out back. Currently, there are four tables and around a dozen seats at the bar. Julie, the bartender is friendly and will talk your ear off. Beers are quite reasonable at $2.50 for most domestic and $3.00 for crafts. They also have wine, bourbon, and cocktails. I am sure the selection will increase over time.
No food currently, but Portage Street Pizza next door (same owners) will offer food options once they also get established. Give them another month, and this service should be established.

Update: New Owners with a new atmosphere. Upon going in the back door (no pun intended) we were welcomed be 2 friendly barmaids. Place has been updated. So I change my opinion and say stop on in.

I got served right away! I’m from 6 miles north of here and Doylestown doesn’t play any games. Bartenders have a good attitude. I got a tequila without “training wheels” , and I was on my way. Randos will greet you in Doylestown it’s a cool place. Worlds apart from what I’m used to. If they had a pool table, and room for it, I’d make this a frequent spot.

Imagine if your angry grandmother opened a bar in her smelly basement with a few of her alcoholic friends. That would be better. It’s small, dark and defies words. It’s more like a living room with a tiny bar. Not sure if she is offering food, but no way I would ever eat it if she did. Stay away.

RUDE bartender. DO NOT GO HERE! I work in the service industry and have never had such bad service! The old lady at the bar is horrible!
