Door dasher stole my order I called up to hill house and the man I spoke to was incredibly kind and remake my order and rush it down! Literally sitting atop of a rolling hill (with a rolling, heavily-sloped parking lot), is the Hill House. Places like this have vanished from much of the American landscape, so it’s a real treat to have dinner at a no-frills-as-it-is-and-will-always-be straightforward restaurant. While the seating area is quite plain, the staff is much nicer. Places like this are reasons why I love traveling across the nation, finding hidden gems. Their stuffed chicken is wonderful. I cleaned my plate. I was also glad that they sell hoodies. I bought one and will wear it everywhere.

Unfortunately food not up to par today on Friday 08-19-2022, No orange jucie and the potatoes speak for themselves, not fresh at all. If you haven’t been to hill top in a while. It’s well worth the trip as you can tell.great food and great prices for the food you get.

Just like the sign says, the worst parking lot on a hill, plates don’t match and it’s a diner atmosphere. A bit of sarcastic humor! But the service was good, food was excellent and it was hopping with locals having a great breakfast. I liked it a lot!

We ordered the grilled ruben w/fries and the cajin fish sandwich w/ a side of coleslaw. They were out of slaw . So I had a side salad. The fish was excellently cooked and seasoned. The Ruben was hot and tasty, the fries crispy.

My fiancé ordered me breakfast and mentioned I’m pregnant and first of all BEST breakfast ever. I love their pancakes and their bacon is always the way I like it. Because he mentioned I’m pregnant they were so kind and added me an extra piece of bacon and wrote a kind note on my box. I love this place and they deserve every bit of business and more. Very kind people and delicious food.

Was disappointed. Food was always good but not good anymore. Fries were frozen not fresh cut. Fish was not beer battered but something hard. Had no taste. It’s a shame because we used to rave about this place. Not anymore. And also saw the cook using the microwave to heat food. Not homemade anymore. Won’t be back

I love this place been going here for years. Hours are limited but worth going for some breakfast or lunch. And if you can’t make it here try their other establishment. The burg bar in West Pittsburgh. Amazing wings and burgers.
