Welp. .. wish my ranchero sauce stayed on my eggs. The beans leaked out of the other bag too. I don’t understand why they don’t consider how they package things. I had to clean everything off and put it on a plate and by then the food was cold. Potatoes had no flavor either. Even salt would help. It’ll be a while before we order again. Getting tired of this. ♀️

First off, we went for breakfast and while the meat was good, the portions were way too small for the price. Second, I don’t understand how you serve burritos with just meat and then charge extra for basic additions. Overall, the place is very overhyped and definitely overpriced for what you get. Just my opinion

It seems as if everything that I asked for wasn’t available, also they are making pre-made enchiladas which I find to be extremely rare and weird. Like you can only pick two kinds of meat one being hamburger meat and the other being chicken.. I don’t understand why you can’t pick a different kind of meat to go into your enchiladas if they don’t supposedly have them pre-made according to the sorry manager on duty…. Also the chips are homemade but they’re extremely hard. Just trust me, Don’t waste your time!

This Mexican restaurant in Ennis, Texas has the best Charro Beans I have ever tasted, and the eggs over medium…which is what I like, are cooked perfectly with no fringy, overfried edges. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone one.

Excellent Mexican Food, I am very picky about the quality and style of my Mexican Food. This Mexican food is the best I have found not only in Ellis County but DFW area, reminds me of South Texas style- Jalisco style food. Especially the Carne Guisada is made South Texas style all gravy no vegetables mixed in. The tortillas are monsters, a little different, I usually tear them in to pieces to use the are so large–

5/5 recommend Hilda’s Kitchen in Ennis. My Caldo de Res was comforting perfection and my husband devoured his Eggs Rancheros. Their tortillas are homemade and bigger than a human head lol (husband is behind it)!

the food is good but the owner is super mean. i ordered a burrito, i was given a plate of beans, potatoes and rice. i told them it wasn’t what i ordered and the owner lady brought me my burrito but she was super disrespectful when giving me my food; she was shoving the plate in my face when she clearly saw the person next to grabbing their order.

While in Ennis we stopped by for a bit at Hildas’s and surprisely we found the full menu was open so instead of breakfast food we both got selections off the dinner menu and it was good. We both love the hot sauce. It was perfect, favored. It was hot but it did last forever. Great service very attentive.
