The best falafel Ive ever had. Easily The best Falafel in the DMV. I cant eat other restaurants falafel now because they taste so bad compared to hers. Ingredients are fresh and delicious, the falafel itself has no fillers in it and is so pillowy and flavorful without being greasy or heavy. I visit her stall nearly every Saturday. Considering her ingredients are so fresh and varied and everything is house-made the price is very fair and reasonable. 10/10 please make your way to the Mt. Pleasant farmers market this Saturday and get some falafel, you will become a repeat customer like me!:)

These are the most authentic falafel sandwiches I’ve had had in the U.S. it just doesn’t get any tastier than Hilana’s. They even import their pickles (!!!!) Do yourself a favor and give their sandwiches a try- you won’t regret it. So delicious.

Minal and her team make beautiful fresh Jerusalem style falafel, executed to the highest standards. My family is particularly obsessed with her pickles! Prices are extremely reasonable and, most importantly, her food is infused with the spirit of love, community, and welcome to all who share mutual feelings of dignity, respect, and justice.
In addition to purchasing at her falafel stands, we hired Minal to cater a 200+ person luncheon. The work was *pristine.* Generously portioned, exceedingly fresh, and beautifully displayed on the buffet. Staff was exceptional as well.
