Looked for a Sushi place between myself and daughter. We decided to choose this one. It’s in a small strip mall and wasn’t quiet sure about it. No keep in mind this re ire is written about a year after going there. But I will tell you I would go again if I lived closer. The place didn’t have many people but they appeared to be regular customers and that’s always a good sign.
There was a menu board as you walked in with the daily specials and one caught my eye.
There were 3 of us and we ordered plenty of choices in various rolls. They kept the shrimp away from mine which I am always thankful for. I don’t recall the names of the rolls ordered but one had mango in it and various fish. One had banana in it and was very unique. We were all pleased with our choices and the friendly service.
It’s worth stopping in if it’s still around. Sorry this took so long to write.

Food and quality of sushi was fantastic. The selection of kinds of sushi is unique and you can find some fish or cuts of fish that you usually don’t find in other sushi restaurants. The only downside was the service and atmosphere. The service was kind of bad… we were only one of three tables but no one came by to take our order. When the server did come by we asked her a question in the middle of the order and she just left and walked behind the counter and started making sushi. My fiancee asked me if I just wanted to leave but I declined. I was told this place has excellent sushi and I was determined to try it. A gentleman then took our order so I don’t know what happened to the lady. Most of the food came out correctly but they did miss part of our order… The ordering felt a bit clunky and when more customers came in it felt like the employees were panicked and running around.
Seriously though the sushi was top knotch

Came to this restaurant as it was the closest sushi restaurant to where I was and had a 4-star rating. I ordered two rolls and a side of fried rice as well as a Pepsi.
One of the first things I noticed was the dish ware. The cups in which they serve water were covered in what looked like hard water stains/streaks. As well as the utensils. The plates had a greasy-ish reside as though they hadn’t been washed well.
When I asked for a straw for my bottled Pepsi, I was served a fully opened straw in another water stained cup. I asked for a plastic spoon, which I received with some kind of skid. I went for a new one and saw their plastics were an open bin of mixed open utensils that they use to put in take out bags.
I will admit that the sushi was good. The portion sizes were good and tasty. However, the fried rice was a little bit salty, this was w/o any sauce.
I also found their bathroom very clean, I’d imagine so b/c any person who came in was picking up take-out…
Overall I rate this 3/5 because the restaurant lacked professionalism and cleanliness when it came to dine in service. The woman who was serving was wearing what I’d deem house shoes and the front of house looked like it was being used as an office. The food made up for the atmosphere.
I’d recommend this restaurant use a better method of washing their dish ware, and exhibit a more professional look and service when it comes to their employees and dining atmosphere.

I stopped here for lunch because it was close to our apartment and was truly disappointed. The reviews suggested it would be a good try however the restaurant itself is absolutely filthy. There is clutter everywhere medication produce and a variety of office items strewn about. The server was short and had a hard remembering our order. The man in the restaurant with her was loudly playing music putting in Flonase and arguing with the woman working. To top it off our food was absolutely nasty. The sushi looked like it was thrown together and was off color in places I only ate two pieces of my twelve because I couldn’t swallow it. The wontons were soupy inside and had nothing of substances. I would seriously suggest going anywhere else.

I’ve lived in the area for 15 years and this is consistently the best sushi I have had around here. I’ve gone to both high end and AYCE style places. Hiko beats it all. Eric and Angie are wonderful people and they take good care of their customers.

We ordered delivery through DoorDash, food was prepared quickly and arrived in a reasonable amount of time. The Honda roll was tasty and the cream cheese paired well with the tempura shrimp. The orange chicken was lacking in the chicken department. The entree was probably 60-70% breading but did have good flavor. The sweet and sour chicken was really disappointing. It had the moisture content of a fortune cookie and it would crack in a similar fashion as well. It also contained about as much chicken as a fortune cookie does. Incredibly dry, and 90% batter.

If your only criteria for sushi was to find the friendliest atmosphere, then Hiko would be the place to go. Eric and Angie, the owners, are kind, warm and effusive with gratitude for their clientele. Service aside, there is wonderful food here. The sushi is fantastic and I’ve never had a bad roll. The Audi is a popular choice for good reason, but for fun, ask for the Pop Rocks Roll that’s not on the menu. Wonderful green tea that never runs dry, fantastic starter salads, and a spotless dining room. (Note: the restaurant is doing well more than half their business through carryout orders because of the pandemic. The small space means they’ve taken over a large table and the bar area with staging items for to go orders. Don’t judge them for this, understand it’s a family owned restaurant in survival mode.) The hibachi is wonderful as well and there are plenty of delicious entrees that will please the seafood averse diner. Hot and sour soup is tops. Eric and Angie are such wonderful members of the restaurant community in Eagan, we’re lucky to have them.

The sushi was poorly rolled. The wasabi looked toxic. The service was very quick but at what cost…
The mochi was $4.50 for ONE mochi ice cream. They handed it to me on a plate in a package which I then had to pry the mochi out with a fork. The server also took my order from 4 feet away every time I spoke to him.

It’s a pretty chill restaurant with fun names for their sushi rolls. They offer a wide variety of food including stuff you would find at a Chinese/hibachi restaurant. I went with a large party and they were gracious in accommodating us. The service was kindly and attentive. I had the tempura udon which hit the spot.

The wife and I went here to try a new sushi spot to celebrate our anniversary early. Sushi is spot on! Have to try the Hiko roll and pepper tuna tataki if you try this place. Their cuts for sashimi and nigiri were good and fish tasted fresh. If you’re near Eagan and want some fresh sushi, this place is a hidden gem. Service was decent. Appreciated my coke was in a bottle to take with me, preference could be different for others. Def give this place a try if you’re in the area and craving some good sushi.
